It was now finally, the very last class before the beginning of the Winter Break. Snow had not softly covered Hogwarts castle, but there had been no heavy snowfall yet. Just enough to make it plain as to which season it was.
The fireplace in the Transfiguration class room was roaring, and it's heat was absorbed by the stone of the classroom walls and floors. Students would likely immediately appreciate the warmth of the room from the chilly temperatures outdoors.
Orynn appeared to have been in class for some time already, and there was an empty mug of tea that was on his podium to suggest it. He shuffled through some papers as some students began to file in.

After looking forward to Christmas for ages, it seemed strange that Alora was actually looking forward to staying at Hogwarts this christmas rather than going home as she had done previous years. It was the fact that there was a change that made her all the more excited. Hogwarts was one of her favourite places and would hopefully bring her joy throughout the holiday season.
Wondering into the Transfiguration classroom, Alora gave a courteous nod and smile to Professor Novim before taking her seats and waiting for the lesson to begin.

[OOC: If there was such a thing as a Staff House, I'd imagine I'd be responsible for a 50 point loss. I'm so sorry.]
Orynn leaned unprofessionally upon one of the tables and started the class with a lecture.
"Applying what we have learned so far about Animagi and normal Human Transfiguration; if I were to let in three supposedly stray cats into the classroom and then tell you that one was an Animagi, one was a student I had Transfigured last night, and one was nothing more than a cat. How would you discern one from the others?"[/color]

Sitting in class, her mind was wondering, back and fourth from snow and christmas to Transfiguration and Animagi, maybe not the best clash of subjects.
Thinking for a while, Alora leaned back on the back of her seat trying to think up an interesting answer to the question given. Not having any luck, she decided to try an answer which she thought might be right. "Urm... The transfigured student wouldn't look as realistic?" She quickly finished, and muttered "Yes, I actually have no idea."
