Torn, Nicholas looked to Daviv as they walked down the Hallway towards the hospital wing. Duty to the countless number of children designated under his care or to his beloved wife?
The question lasted for a few seconds until he came to a decision.
"Let's get her to the Hospital wing, quickly."
In the end, there really was no question.
Till death do us part.
He silently hoped that it didn't come to that.

Throughout the whole ordeal, Fay had hidden behind the overturned staff table, and at the first chance of escaping to her common room, she followed the rest of the students. She worried about her peers and her professors, but knew that it was better to be safe then on the recieving end of an attack from the terrifying monsters.

Zea struck at the creature with her whip as Arcturus hit the ground. She fired another Stunning spell at it, and then struck again.

The whip struck its nose powerfully, knocking it's head down. The proceeding stunning spell struck the beast directly on the top of the head; it was out cold before medieval weapons and the whip finish it off.
The last of the creatures gave one last pitiful cry that pierced the sound of the Hall and fell dead from the damage Nicholas had dealt to it.
The Hall was silent except for the sound of armour walking towards Zea. Only three were still walking; one had it's left arm torn off, the last one was on the floor, leg crumpled.
"Orders, milady?" they asked.

"Clean up, please," she said. "And get these last students to their common rooms, or the hospital wing, as needed."
She looked at Arcturus.
"I've got some things to get done. Get to the Common Room, I'll be up in a while."
She turned on her heel and jogged out of the room.

Arcturus stood up. The sudden attack of the beast had not fazed him at all, actually. All the other action had left him so tired he would have a hard time being afraid of the Lord of Death himself.
He grunted an affirmative to Zea and started the long trudge to Ravenclaw Tower. Right now, all he wanted was to sleep.
