Althea couldn't get a word in edge wise between the feuding faculty memebers, her words lost amongst the shouting. "Please settle down your aggrivating your injuries! -The both of you!"
She gasped when Nicholas began to cough furiously, but agian, her peas were ignored, "Stop it... Nick- Sit down, please- your in no shape-" And glancing over to Orynn as he to decided to get of of bed. "You shouldn't be standing- for all I know your you may have severed something..."
She was frustrated angry that no one seemed to even care that she was trying to help them. She was extermly worried about her husbands health, now that he seemed to have aggrivated his injuries so much that it cuased him to cough up blood...
She helped Nicholas on to the bed, not really caring about the insults that were flying between the two, until Orynn drew his wand.
She paniced and in response she drew her own, placing herself between the two of them. She was visably shaken, her sweaty palm tightly grasping the handle of her smooth oak wand until her knuckles turned white. She viciously pointed it at Orynn's face, and held it there.
The fact was, she was terriffed. In no way, shape or form did she have it in her to fight anyone, it simply wasn't in her nature and truthfully, she had no idea what she was going to do if the enraged deputy decided to attack. She gritted her teeth together and adressed the deputy, breathing deeply and actually managing to keep control of herself. She had pleanty of practice with keeping cool under pressure, that was at least one thing she could do well, aside from the obvious.
"Back down, Mr. Novim!... How DARE you threaten the father of my children twice in one day! Now you are going to PARK IT on the bed all the way down there," She pointed with her off hand to a bed all the way at the end of the hospital wing. "and you are going to get there on your own, since you feel the need to ignore my orders, as I try to piece my husband back together agian, and make sure he doesn't die from internal bleeding. You are going to wait for me to come and help you. If you are in pain, you can cast the "dull pain" charm on yourself. It's an easy one- I learned it in my 2nd year here, so I'm sure that an all-powerful-wizard as yourself can figure out." Her words dripped with sarcasm.
"As for your apology, I'll accept it, since I know d*mn well that took alot of courage for someone like yourself to do, and quite frankly I think that's the best I'm going to get out of you, even though I deserve more, since you mind-raped me..." Her eyes watered up and she fought to stop her self from crying. She had more important things to worry about at the moment than her phycological scarring. She tried to focus on something other than the painful memories of her brother's death and the terrifying memories of her own lungs filling with water as she nearly drowned in the Lake during her school days at Hogwarts, that Orynn ripped from her mind those many years ago. Everytime the subject of that duel was mentioned, she was reminded of that pain and that God-forsaken spell.
"Now, march, and don't give me that look like you are better than me. Keep that forked tongue to yourself for once." She flicked the wand in the direction of the bed at the end of the wing, once she saw Orynn had loosed up.
She turned his back on him, her attention now focused on Elsbeth. "I am very sorry, Headmistress, for my actions and my shouting, but it needed to be said. If you need to speak with them further I suggest that you come back later. For now, I would like it very much if you helped Mr. Novim to that bed, please, Miss Pierce." She wiped her tears on her sleeve.
She now rushed to Nicholas' side and casted a series of pain numbing spells and calming spells on him before even saying a word. Her arms waved quickly and smoothly through the motions of the charms and clearly pronounced the words of the incantations. Althea unwrapped the sethoscope from around her neck and listened to Nicholas heartbeat and breathing. She was revlived to find that at least that was steady, for now.
"Please don't move. Don't do anything, just let me help you."She pleaded once more, this time Nicholas was sure to hear her.
