"Well, if we get it put in action rather quickly, you ought to be able to catch a good look at them. When you do, let me know, and I'll research it further. Does that sound good to you?"

"I will speak with Miss Pierce as soon as possible. I have to ask her about the inventory anyway...Meanwhile, see if you can sneak a peek yourself, it couldn't hurt."

"I'll do what I can. And give my regards to Nicholas, haven't talked to him much this semester either. How are the little ones faring?"

She picked up the framed photo of her family on her desk and showed it to him. In the picture, Nicholas stands behind Althea, arm around her shoulder smiling proudly, the other resting on Vincent's shoulder who sports an exaggerated smile of his own. His little sister, Isabelle has her arms behind her back and smiling mischievously. Althea holds in her arms, her youngest Edward and looks to be about 6 months old at the time of the photo. The happy family stands outside on a sunny day in front of a flowering bush of some kind.
"I will. The kids are fine. Edward is growing so fast... He looks so much like his father...Vincent discovered the magic of cardboard tubes. How are yours?

"Well, Frankie is getting tutored by a woman in Diagon Alley with a few other children his age, Alice has been begging to go to school since he went back this fall, so next year she'll start, and she's very excited. They're a handful, and I usually wind up with the worst of it on the weekends so Hannah gets a break. But I don't mind. I miss them during the week, but I just can't give them the attention they need here, and she needs to be there to run the Leaky Cauldron. Well, we're making do. In a few years Frank will be with me here anyway, and I imagine it'll feel like tomorrow that Alice is too."
"Edwards getting big," he let out a low whistle. "They grow up so fast, don't they?"
He produced a tattered looking wallet from the pocket of his robes, and brought out a picture of his two. Frank was missing his front teeth, and Alice was playing with the bow in her hair, but they look happy and healthy.

"That they do." She looked at the photo presented to her. "Aw, they're so precious." She put the framed photo back on her desk. "It's rough. Nicholas would stay here during the semester, and I would work at St- Mungos. It was really hard, in the end with three kids I had no choice but to take time off... So to make things easier, I applied here. Now we all live in the castle and it's much more bearable."

"Well, at this point Hannah really just watches over things, the place practically runs itself, so she has time for the children. It's hard to have a full-time job and look after your family at the same time," he shook his head sadly.
"Anyway, I've a class to get to, thank you very much for the Pepper-Up, it ought to do the trick nicely. We should have dinner at the Leaky Cauldron at some point, bring the children. I'm always there weekends."

"Absolutely, I'll tell Nicholas. Have a nice day, Professor."
