Andréa let out a short laugh. "Believe me, we know of our own daughter's pride. She has issues accepting defeat and chose to blame you instead. We're far from blaming you. Isabelle is a very talented witch, but she has her flaws, like all of us do. She just needs to swallow her pride and come to terms with them.
We're still proud of her, though, and what she has done yesterday just shows that despite her flaws she still is a good person, and isn't as self-centered as her attitude might have made us belie... Oh... Et ben c'est parti..."
Andréa sighted as she noticed her husband raising up from his seat and rushing to Nicholas, his eyes glittering and smiling widely. Hard to believe he'd been weeping just minutes ago.
Harvey grabbed Nicholas' hand, shaking it energetically as he had done earlier with the Headmistress.
"Sir Lannsman! Such a pleasure to meet you after all this time! I have heard, and read so much about you! It is quite an honor! Of course the circumstances couldn't be worse, but I would still be trilled to have a drink with you sometime, once we are done taking care of our respective families of course! Oh so sorry to hear about your wife, what she did for our girls, she must have bravery to match your own! Isn't it funny that our daughters have the sam-"
"Uhhh.... Dad... Embarrassing me..."
The groan coming from Isabelle's bed cut the man's over-enthusiastic speech short, and he let go of Nicholas' hand to rush back to his oldest's side with Andréa.
Isabelle was waking up, quite confused, and having a hard time understanding her surroundings from her face-down position. She first tried to raise herself up with her arms, but the pain shooting in her shoulders made her quickly drop back.
"Where am.. Dad?"
"I'm here, Kitten! We're both here! You're in the hospital wing." Harvey said softly, grabbing Isabelle's hand.
"Don't move too quickly, Minoune, you're still hurt..."
"But what are you.... LIL! Where's... ACK!" Isabelle stiffened a cry of pain as she had tried to twist herself around too suddenly.
"She's here, honey, she's okay. She's safe..."

Nicholas returned the energetic shake and couldn't help but smile at the man's enthusiasm. Though, he did blush and tried to sputter some words back but was blushing enough to keep quiet.
When Isabelle began to stir, he took several steps back to stand beside the Headmistress and allow the family and opportunity to speak to each other. They were here for their children, he understood that.
Once beside Elsbeth, he scratched his nose as he tried to stop blushing.

Zea leaned against the wall, folding her arms over her chest, and chuckled to herself.
Looks like everything is going to sort itself out all right, here.

"I'm here, Isa, I'm okay... You're awake... Does it hurt a lot?", Lilianne managed to blurt out in a weak voice, a smile shyly appearing on her yet again wet face.
Seeing that Isabelle was struggling to get a better view of things, she and her parents helped her turn around into a sitting position, as she couldn't lie flatly on her back, pilling several pillows up so that she could lean lightly onto something soft.
Once Isabelle was set up, her parents immediately started fussing over her for some time, taking account of her well-being.

Isabelle was hurting all over her back, her head and one of her sides. The simple effort of sitting up was painful enough, but to have her entire family talking to her and prodding her all at one was more that she was ready to handle.
She weakly raised a hand to her forehead, grunting. "Uhhh, you're making me dizzy, gimme some space, will you?"
Harvey was about to protest, but his wife pulled him away, back to stand at the foot of Isabelle's bed. Lilianne sat back on her chair, staring at her sister but keeping silent.
Isabelle put her arm down with a small wince, and sighed. "Thanks... Uhhh, I'm not sure I remember how I got here..." She frowned for a while, concentrating on her memories of the previous night.
She could remember quite clearly how the dinner started, and how she had felt when she saw that creature running toward her sister. Then she had rushed to pull Lilianne to safety... and the rest was blurry.
She looked at Lilianne as she still struggled to remember.
I got to her before that thing did... My spells didn't hit... That MacDougal kid distracted it... I tried to take her to the staff table but she was frozen stiff... then... pain...
Isabelle shuddered at the memory. She couldn't quite remember how exactly she got hurt, all she could remember was hot, stabbing pain.
Then we were on the floor... No wand... Couldn't do anything to protect her... Then the Doc came, and she...
Isabelle looked up, startled. She glanced around the wing, and spotted Nicholas standing with the Headmistress and, not far from him, what looked like the Doctor lying in bed.
"...How is she?"

Nicholas offered Isabelle a courageous smile.
''It was close but she's expected to make a full recovery in due time, no need to worry. As will you, apparently. Even the scarring will disappear almost completely I'm told." Nicholas responded. He thought that adding his own opinions in sentiments into the mix would only incur her ire, and so only kept the answer courteous and to what she asked specifically. Although, he did try to sound friendly and pleased with the response.

Isabelle relaxed as Nicholas reassured her of Althea's hopeful state, though her eyes did pop back open for a few second at the mention of scarring for her own part.
She looked back to her sister however and a loving smile etched on her face.
"I'm glad you're safe, Lil. Wouldn't have forgiven you if you went and died after I got myself all thorn to pieces here..." she said in her tired voice, with a wink. "We'll have to make sure to properly thank Dr. Lannsman once she's up and about..."
Isabelle nodded to wards Nicholas, though she avoided eye contact. "I suppose I need to thank you too, Professor. If it wasn't for your flashy rescue I don't think either of us three would have made it out..."
Her comment had no tone of insincerity nor sarcasm in it, but still, something sounded off.
"What flashy rescue? Lilianne didn't tell us about that!" said Harvey, getting childishly excited again and looking back toward Nicholas.

Lilianne tried to smile back when Isabelle made a joke about being thorn to shreds, but she didn't really find it funny at all.
She nodded silently at her when she spoke of properly thanking Dr Lannsman. She wasn't looking forward to it however, her feelings of guilt still too strong.
When her father inquired about Nicholas' rescue, however, for the first time since she'd woken up she seemed to brighten up some, and her voice was a little stronger as she answered:
"Oh! Right, I didn't tell you about that! See hum... Well after Dr Lannsman got... after she got hurt the monster was still coming for us, but then Professor Lannsman came in the Great Hall, and he was leading suits of armor that were moving on their own and they went and fought the monsters, and then Professor Lannsman took a spear and ran really fast toward us, then he jumped real, real high and came down on the monster and killed it before it could hurt us again... "
"It was like I was in an action movie or something...", she added as an afterthought, feeling a little confused between her feelings of fright, guilt, and pure amazement at the memory of that particular event.
Andréa simply whistled impressively, but Harvey looked overwhelmed again as he took a few steps toward Nicholas, his arms outstretched as if he wanted to hug the man, exclaiming:
"But by Merlin, Sir, you really are a Hero!"

Nicholas began to blush again and shyly lifted his palms up in surrender. "No less a hero than any of the faculty or students who risked their lives. Really, it was nothing more than simple athletics, a few well timed charms and a lot of luck. Any of the others present would have helped your daughters. My wife is no less a hero than me, she's more, honestly, as is your daughter."
The adoration and awe these people had been directing towards him obviously flattered him, but he did all that he could to remain humble. It was somewhat funny seeing the large, armed ex-auror blushing like a schoolboy.

"And he's a modest one, at that!" Harvey laughed, clapping Nicholas hard on the back.
"Ughhhhh, Daaaaaaad!" Isabelle groaned, her eyes rolling up and her shoulders falling.
"Mmm, yeah, Chéri, you might want to calm yourself down before you get us thrown out of the school..."
Harvey looked back and forth between his family and Nicholas a few times, then lower his head, pushing his glasses up on his nose in nervous embarrassment.
"Oh! I'm sorry, Sir Lannsman, it seems I'm having issues keeping my emotions in check this morning. My mind is all over the place! I hope you'll understand how it is for a man to wake up to news of his daughters getting hurt, then be immediately flung away from his home, so that he could be told incredible stories of monsters and animated armor and knights!
And all that without a single drop of his morning coffee!... Or a piece of toast..." Harvey added, suddenly aware of his hunger, and his stomach growled on cue.
"Well, it's true that you're hard to handle when you haven't had your coffee, Namour. And considering what she's been through, and the fact she seems to have spent the whole night sleeping on a chair, I don't think it would hurt to get this one to eat something. Isn't that right, Cocotte?"
"But what about Isabelle?" Said Harvey, torn between his hunger and caffeine deprivation, and his need to stay close to his children.
Isabelle waved a hand in dismissal. "I'm not really hungry. To be honest, I'm just tired and dizzy. I think you should go and take care of Lilianne for a while. Come see me later. I'll just go back to sleep..."
"But are you..."
"Yes Dad, I'm sure." She cut her father off, sighting again.

"Well, I can either see about having the House Elves bring something here, or we could possibly go to a staff room or office. I believe that the Great Hall is currently off limits to anyone who isn't Hogwarts staff or with the Ministry."Nicholas offered.

Mrs Lévesque chuckled. "Well, it seems that Isabelle's got more of us that she can handle in one sitting already, so it would probably be better if we went somewhere else to grab a bite and discuss what happenned in more details. Isabelle needs to rest, and if Harvey can't stick to his inside voice we'll end up waking up your wife, as well."
Harvey, who was still fussing over Isabelle, looked up at his wife, looking oddly like a child getting scowled.
"She's... probably right..." He said, smiling embarassedly at Nicholas. He walked over to Lilianne, who was still sitting next to Isabelle's bed, and kneeled down in front of her.
"What do you say we go grab a bite, Peanut? You must be starving..."
"Not really..." Said Lilianne weakly, looking sideways at Isabelle.
"Come on now Lilianne, she won't disapear if you leave her alone for a few minutes..."

Elsbeth took the opportunity to step in and offer some Headmisstressly advice. "I can organize a small breakfast in the staff room, if you'd like. No one will bother us there and the House Elves would be more than happy to accomodate us."

"Sounds perfect! We'll let you lead the way then, just give us a moment."
The Weskers went back to each side of Isabelle's bed to check on her one last time.
"You're really, really sure you don't want us to eat with you?"
"Yes, Dad. Seesh! Don't make me get up from here just so I can kick you out, it hurts too much. I just want to sleep some more."
"All right, then. Maybe we should get the Doctor to see you first, so he can help make you comfortable..."
"I think I can handle him on my own, Dad."
"...Oh, Okay. Well, you sleep well, okay?" Harvey finally said, before he leaned over to kiss her. Andréa took her turn right after, kissing Isabelle, before she looked at her lovingly, stroking her hair.
"We're so proud of you, you know that?"
"Yeah..." Isabelle said simply, looking suddenly uncomfortable. It was sort of strange, the proud girl usually revelling in being praised. She turned her gaze to Lilianne instead. "C'mere, you." she said, gesturing for a hug.
As she was hugging her sister warmly, she looked over at the Headmistress and Professor Winters. "By the way... I dropped my wand at some point in the Great Hall... I'd really like it back, if someone's already found it or when you do... I feel sort of naked without it."

Elsbeth looked to Zea, and said, before leaving, "I haven't seen it, nor have I been told of its whereabouts, but if you do or someone approaches you with information on it..."
"When the Weskers are ready, please lead them down to the staff room, alright Zea?"
And with that, she left the Hospital Wing and went straight to the staff room. She spoke to the House Elves and a scrumptious breakfast appeared moments later.
{Are we really RPing this? Or was it just for conversation's sake here?}
