Character Name: Isabelle Wesker
Character Age: 16
Wand: 11 inch maple, dragon heartstring.
Pet (if any): A flying fox bat named Henson.
Family History (Go into detail, if possible):
Isabelle's father, Harvey Wesker was born to a family of skilled wizards, leading to a lot of suprise and disapointment when he turned out to be a squib. Suspecting he had no magical powers, his parents sent him to pursue his magical education in Canada, at the Northern Star College of Mystical Studies, seeking to avoid too much exposition if he did turn out to be a squib. Harvey met there a muggle-born witch from Québec, Andréa Levesque, with whom he developped a close friendship as she was one of the rare students not to pick on him for struggling with magic. When he finally had to abandon magical education and returned to England where he was homeschooled instead, he kept correspondance with Andréa. His love of books and magical theory, even if he could not perform magic, made him turn to a career as a Librarian.
Meanwhile, Andréa grew up to become a chaser for the Quidditch team the Québec Clabberts. She visited Harvey often until their friendship blossomed into love and they got married. They had two daugthers 5 years apart, Isabelle and Lilianne. They live in Manchester, though Andréa's career takes her back to Canada for long periods of time.
Physical Description:
Isabelle has shoulder-lenght straight black hair and dark blue eyes. She often ties her hair up with ribbons. She takes care of her appearance much more in contrasm to her tomboy sister, wearing discreet makeup and blue jewelry. She is 5''7 and rather skinny.
Personality Description: (Go into detail, if possible)
Isabelle was a very studious and serious student when she first started at Hogwarts, a quick learner and a bookworm like her sister. She would get grades worthy of a Ravenclaw and made her parents and head of house proud. However as the years went by and she made many friends and started getting interested in boys, her grades started to suffer.
She got lazier with her homework and studies, and although she is still a quick learner and manages to get good grades without much of an effort, Professor Winters had to tell her more than once how much potential she's wasting, how far she could go if she'd just put a bit more effort into her work.
Isabelle is a bit airheaded and proud. She worries a lot about other people's opinion of her and now that Lilianne is starting at Hogwarts, she fears that her popularity will suffer. She does love her little sister, mind you, but why does she have to be such a total outcast?
In contrasm to Lilianne, Isabelle likes to surround herself with friends, trying to go in numbers instead of quality. Deep inside it all comes from a fear of not fitting in.
Strengths:
Smart and a quick learner, she is confident and outgoing.
Weaknesses:
Easily distracted from her studies and a bit lazy. Often lacks tact.
If given the opportunity - would you take part in a Quidditch team, a Book Club, a Potions group or an Afternoon Tea party?
The Tea Party, definately!
If you found a wandering Kneazle, what would you do?
Call whoever's close to show off what I found.
What House would you like to be placed in (This is to be taken into consideration, though the Hat will ultimately make the final decision)?
Ravenclaw!
Please give us an example RP:
"Why do we always have to do things the hard way?"
Mumbling, Isabelle picks the cutlery from the drawer and continues setting up the table. Her father, still chopping vegetables with a knife, chuckles.
"Love, you know you still have to wait a year before you can do magic outside of Hogwarts."
"But mum could do it!"
"Your mother is not home from her practice yet. And you know she's not much of a kitchen person. Besides, using a bit of elbow grease builds character."
"I still think it's stupid to waste energy doing chores like these when you could take care of it in a second with a wand. Building character is loser talk."
Harvey turns back towards his daugther and stares at her over his glasses.
"Uh, I didn't mean it that way, daddy... I'm just saying, we could take care of all of this much faster if you'd just let me help with some spells..."
"You know the rules, Isabelle. Once you turn seventeen you can use all the magic you want to help around, I know you'll be a great witch. But for now, you'll still have to do things your daddy's way."
Isabelle turns back to setting the table, feeling slightly worried she offended her father. The feeling is only fleeting however as she perks up again:
"I wonder what house Lilianne is gonna get into? I hope she doesn't end up in Hufflepuff, the house colors would look horrible with her hair!"
"Speaking of your sister, where is she? Supper's about ready..."
"Ugh, I bet she's mopping around under that tree again. If she keeps that up she'll turn into a mushroom. I won't have to babysit her at school, will I?"
"Well I'm not expecting you to be with her all the time, but you should be nice to her, and help her out. It wasn't easy for you either, the first time you left for Hogwarts..."
"What? Feh! It was SO nothing!" Isabelle laughs as she struts out of the house to get her sister.
"I guess I have better memory than you, honey..." Harvey sighs as he turns back to the stove.
