"...Oooh. I don't understand much, but I guess that makes me a pureblood? My parents were both wizards... And I THINK my grandpa was a wizard and my grandma wasn't, but I'm not so sure..."
He perked up once he realized there would be different houses. Does that mean... Sort of teams?
"That would be great!" Stevie grinned. A friend in the same house he was in? All too perfect.

Kel wondered briefly why he didn't know what a Muggle was if he was from a Pureblood family, but she forgot the thought when the small boat ground into the shore of the lake on the Hogwarts side. She could see a young man standing in front of her, surveying the students with something that seemed like nervousness or maybe fright.
Remembering what Stevie had said, she answered. "Yeah, it would! What House do you want to be in? Or maybe I should ask: what do you know about Hogwarts?"

"...Nothing. At all." Once again, his blush came out again, and he felt his face getting hot.
"...I keep DOING that," he remarked, poking a bit of fun at his now constant blushing. That was Stevie for you, always trying to make something embarrassing or generally negative into something positive. That was one of his best traits, he thought, because he could cheer himself, and occasionally others, up. That was something Stevie liked to do. He liked making people feel good by laughing. The best part of it was, it worked.

Kel giggled, climbing out of the small boat. "It's okay. Both to now know a lot about Hogwarts-okay, nothing- and to blush a bit now and again." Kel reached her hand out to him. "Remember my mom. She didn't know anything either, and she works at St. Mungos now. Which is the only Wizarding hospital in Britain, in case you didn't know. And my father works at the Ministry of Magic, which is the Wizarding equivalent of government. He works in the Magical Games and Sports sector. He's always been crazy about Quidditch." Kel said, hoping to impart all the information she could about the Wizarding world.

Stevie nodded slowly.
"Mkay... I get it..." Stevie hopped out of the boat, barely using her hand, with his guitar grasped at the neck in his free hand. Floyd peered out from his pocket at what was going on. He looked somewhat like a spy, peering around from a corner to see if there's anyone in the next hallway. He quickly withdrew his head, noting the load of other people. One thing Floyd didn't like? Large crowds.

Kel laughed at the funny sight of Floyd's little head poking out from Stevie's pocket. She withdrew her hand, looking about. She spotted a dark-haired man coming toward them. He looked young, and slightly afraid. She watched him as he came to the water's edge and turned toward them.

((Important! All first years should now post in Draelynn's post on the Hogwart's grounds. He will lead you to where Orynn is waiting to take you inside the castle. Then you will post in Orynn's thread, and follow him inside.))
