Zea's office is located adjacent to the Ancient Runes classroom, relatively close to the Ravenclaw common room. If she is inside, the door is always left open.
Immediately upon entering, one notices the wall of windows looking out over the forest. Large, musty-looking blue drapes are held away from it with bronze rope. On one wall, she has a small Ravenclaw banner, but those are the only things in the room representing her house, and the only other decorations are curious antique items of uncertain origins, with the exception of a goldfish bowl on a small table beside the chaise lounge.
Her desk is buried under mountains of scrolls, books, and diaries, in a myriad of different languages. Two walls (being the ones with neither doors nor windows) are covered in bookshelves, which look dusty but surprisingly well-organized.
There is a chaise lounge pushed up next to the windows, covered with a tapestry and several pillows. Occasionally she can be found napping here with a book in her hand, but generally it is somewhere where over-stressed students (mostly Ravenclaws) come to unwind and talk to her, in a Freudian kind of environment, minus the Freud. Due to her easygoing manner, she is the teacher students often come to to unload their woes. She will serve students who visit her Russian tea in glasses with silver holders, and her mother's Russian tea biscuits.
Her ugly cat is often hanging around. Bandersnatch often claims the contents of the couch as "his", but he is a friendly cat, and whatever child sits there, he will sit on and purr contentedly while they pet his ugly hairless skin.

Zea and Aesir arrived at Zea's office after a short walk.
Zea popped out her wand, muttered a password, and opened the door.
"Come on in. Make yourself comfortable."

Aesir walked into the threshold of the doorway, taking in the sights of the office. It had such an elegant, worldly feel with all those plates and such from other countries.
His gaze drifted to Zea's fedora wearing head.
"Sure thing, Indie." he said, grinning as he moved in, looking about the room.
Not too bad. Gotta be careful not to touch anything, don't wanna break something.
He stood in the center of the room, bending forward to get a closer look at some plates.
"Pretty..." he muttered, underneath his breath.

Zea smiled immediately at that.
"I guess you like Muggle movies, too, then?"
She gazed around the room, and located her Russian tea set, and began to prepare the tea.
"Most of those plates aren't very valuable, but they do have a bit of personal meaning."

Aesir smiled. "Muggle movies rock! Especially those retro 80's ones, like Indiana Jones, Star Wars, or Jaws. They're classics, in all honesty." he said, thrilled at the prospect that he wasn't alone in that opinion.
Aesir turned around, moving over to help her with the tea. "Here, lemme help." he said softly as he moved alongside her to help. His leg was against hers as he stood beside her.

Zea smiled at him, and leaned into him ever so slightly.
"See, I make tea the Russian way, by hand, like my Babushka used to. Some things just taste better homemade. Oh, here, have a biscuit. My mother sent them to me this morning."
She reached across him for the tin.
"So, Professor, where are you from?"

Aesir took the biscuit handed to him, holding it in his left hand. With his right, he reached over to grabe the tin.
"No, allow me ter-" he began until his hand accidentally touched hers as they both grabbed it at the same time. He smiled somewhat and pulled his hand away.
Accidental, ha! Yeah right. Soft hands though.
He looked over to her, his soft brown eyes locked on hers as he spoke warmly.
"Born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland me whole life till I left me folks ter strike out on me own." he said, soon after taking a bite of the biscuit. "You?"

Zea bit her bottom lip as their eyes locked, and she lowered hers to look at the table.
"I was born in London, but I spent just about every summer as a child in St. Petersburg. My mother is very Russian. I'm Muggle-born, though. They're archaeologists... well, were. Retired, now."
She smiled.
"I spend a lot of time combining what I've learned from them with what I know of magic. It makes for interesting research, that's for sure..."
"...I don't think I've been on a broom since I got my licence to Apparate, though."

Aesir leaned back, raising his eyebrows in surprise. "No? That's a cryin' shame. S'far as I'm concerned, one of the greatest things for people ter even do is experience flight. Apparatin' ain't as cranked as people make it out ter be."
He leaned back in, his voice lower. "Should y'ever be interested, maybe sometime I can take ye out fer a spin. Whaddya say?" he asked, looking at her again as her surreptitiously slipped a hand through his windswept hair, placing a rebellious lock behind an ear."I'd make it well worth the ride, I guarantee it."

"Well, see, teeny, tiny little problem..." she blushed. "I'm rather afraid of heights. I don't like being off the ground too much... heck, I never liked flying on airplanes with my parents."
"But I suppose I could give it a shot again. Provided that you're not a reckless flyer." She smirked.

He gave her a roguish, lopsided grin.
"I'll sweep ye off yer feet with the broom low enough to the ground so that ye won't be scared. Ye can just hold onto me if ye get too scared." he said as gentlemanly as possible. He gave her a wink. "Wouldn't want to see a fine lass such as yerself gettin' hurt. That'd be a crime. Tasty biscuits by the way."
He walked away from her to look out the window, his warm leg no longer pressing against hers.
We all have to make sacrifices for the greater good MacLeod. She'll swing around.

Zea poured two cups of tea, then went over to join him by the window, handing him one.
She sank onto the chaise lounge, sitting just on the edge. She kicked off her boots, revealing blue socks with little sheep on them.
"I've got a fairly nice view from up here. Not nearly as nice as the Ravenclaw Common Room, but it's close."
She patted the seat beside her.
"Here, sit down."

"Thank ye." he said as she handed him the cup, his hand touching hers for a few moments as he concentrated on holding the cup. He sat down beside her again, smiling.
He was sitting a little closer than most people normally would, innocently sipping his tea as his leg brushed up against hers. Aesir looked over to her. "It tastes wonderful. And i think this place is nice an' cozy nuff as it is. Mines alright, weren't it a mess. Not like I'm expecting much company these days. Hell if I know where me mates are and not like I have a lady friend, so no need ter worry bout that either eh?"
He chuckled a bit. He looked about the room. "Not like this place though. Very neat. Expectin' yer man ter drop by sometime?"
There was definately a curious tone in his question.

Zea smiled to herself.
Well, can't let him live in fear forever...
"Ha! Hardly. I'm afraid the only man in my life is currently of the four-legged, furry sort. And he seems to have abandoned me for the time being, so sadly, I cannot introduce you. Well, I could introduce you to Rodney, but I'm afraid he's not thrilling." She gestured at the goldfish bowl with one hand.
"Do you have any pets?

Excellent. Pets, I can deal with those. How bad can it be. Ones a fish.
He smiled. "Nah, I went from place ter place for a while a few years back. Didn't have the money or time ter afford a pet. Wouldn't have been fair for most pets." he said, shrugging. A peculiar grin tugged at his mouth as he took a sip. " 'Sides, I usually spend most of my time off my feet."
