"Woo!" Stevie jumped around, spinning as he did so, picking up the pirate's sword in the process. He was tempted, oh so temped, to hop of a table and stage dive off of the table. But he would surely get in trouble. So, he simply spun a bit, then the sugar's effects started to wear off. He used the pirate's sword to serve himself a cookie, and it worked. He walked into the crowd, quickly and sneakily giving the sword to Lilianne on his way to 'get some pumpkin juice'. He did, though, it was strangely good.

Stevie frowned.
"No fair! There aren't any other ninjas here..." He looked around to make sure. Nope. None. He had to think of something, and quick...
But he didn't. All he did was pick up the 'dagger' and poke Mary repeatedly with it.

Stevie was ready to bust out his secret weapon. We was all hyped up on sugar, so maybe he could do it without crashing into something.
He started doing the worm.
he had practiced it before at his house, just because he thought it looked cool. He never really got the hang of it until a couple days before leaving to go to Hogwarts. He did it a couple times, then stood up. He did the wave once, but at the end of it, pointed at Mary.

Stevie hopped around still, but started to spin. He soon was spinning so fast, everything was a blur to him. Eventually, he got bored of jumping and spinning, he simply fell down onto his shoulder and started running around in circles, but on the ground, on his side. It was truly a strange sight that was accompanied by a couple cheers, but Stevie just wanted to waste his energy. He lifted himself up on his hands, spun his legs in front of him until he was in a crouching position, then stood up, still dizzy. He almost walked over to something and crashed into it, but he had managed to stop and point shakily at Mary, shaking his head as he did so.

Stevie hopped along, following her. He seemingly couldn't stop hopping.
"C'monc'monc'mon let's go!"

Stevie blinked at her display, and held the dagger out, only to have it fall again. But then, she said danceoff.
"Mkay. Bring it!" Came the reply from the ninja, grinning behind his mask. He was going to have fun. Lots of fun. Of course, it would involve flailing and lots of spinning, but Stevie would be fine with it.
Remembering his secret surprise, Stevie quickly consumed the cookies. Now, he was sugar high.
Uh-oh.
He started hopping in place, motioning for Mary to go first.

"Hi! I don't know Japanese." He said, with a shrug. It would be pretty awesome, and he would be more like a ninja, bu this would have to do.
Wait.
He looked at Lilianne. A pirate. He was a ninja. There was a ninja and a pirate in this room.
Pirate.
Ninja.
But Stevie didn't do anything, he figured he wasn't a real ninja, and Lilianne was a friend. But, he WOULD probably end up going crazy. After all, he just ate something with sugar. He went back to the table, stashed a couple cookies in a pouch on his side, and started eating another one, coming back. Floyd scampered out of his pocket, and jumped headfirst into the pouch. Luckily, Stevie caught him with the hand that didn't have a cookie in it. Though, that resulted in him crossing his arms and generally looking awkward. Floyd had a miniature ninja suit of his own on, but nothing else.

"Hi!" Stevie said, waving to Keladry. These people didn't really have costumes he'd expect... But most things here he didn't expect. Correction. All things here he didn't expect. he didn't expect to get a mysterious letter from Hogwarts on his birthday. He had no clue he was going to be a wizard. He had no clue he would make friends as fast as he did, let alone friends at all! Though, through it all, everything had seemed to work out.
Then he noticed the cookie. Cookies meant sugar.
He turned his head to a table, and saw a platter of them. He took one and quickly came back to his friends, taking a bite. If you knew Stevie, then you'd know that he was a definite fan of cookies. Really, all things sweet. If he could, without a second thought, he would live on sweets.

Stevie pulled out his wand-dagger, grinning as he did so. It was fake, of course. The dagger part quickly fell off of the wand.
"Um... Yeah..." He quickly picked up the dagger head, placed it on the want carefully, and this time it stuck.
"... I think it's good now..." he said with a grin and a shrug.
"Hi!" Came Stevie's last reply to Neoma.

Stevie was sitting on the end of a table, not really noticing anything. He had managed to fit his wand into a fake dagger hidden in his ninja-belt, so it was all in all, a pretty awesome costume. Plus, it was a ninja.
He only spotted one person he knew at the whole ball. Neoma. He waved to try to catch her attention, and for her to sit with him. He wanted at least SOMEONE he knew to 'behold his awesome ninja costume'. Though, it was pretty awesome...

Stevie walked in, apparently early. Oh well. He liked these sort of things, and he'd probably bouncing off the walls by the end of this if they had sugary refreshments, which he hoped they did. He was wearing a black mask, and was wearing all black clothes. Stevie had arrived at the ball as a ninja.

Stevie sighed slightly, and leaned back in his chair, not tilting it, but just leaning back, waiting for anything else to happen. He was growing tired himself, and bored. And having a sleeping prairie dog in your pocket didn't do much for your tiring either.
Stevie looked to the staff table. The staff seemed like a personable bunch. That was always good. Stevie hated having mean, strict teachers. Stevie just hoped that he didn't have homework often. Or, at least, have a study hall or somewhere like that do DO the homework in. Stevie remembered having study hall. He LOVED it, just getting his homework done before everyone else and just come home and relax. He guessed it would be somewhat like this.

"...Well..." He thought, trying to look at the bright side.
"At least we're not on Slytherin," he stated, feeling slightly better about the sorting. And hey, Neoma and Keladry were together. At least it turned out good for them. And Stevie was BOUND to make friends. Right? Hopefully. If Stevie WAS on Slytherin... Stevie would probably never speak to anyone on his house. Ever. Then he'd be the creepy, quiet kid- the polar opposite of the real Stevie.

"...Oooh. They do the whole you-have-weekends-off thing here? I've never been to a school like this. I mean, like sleeping here and stuff. Awesome!" Stevie grinned. He loved weekends.
(Sorry for the short post. A little lack of inspiration right now.)

"Oh, hi." He said, with slight enthusiasm, still eating slowly. His prairie dog peeked out of his pocket, and quickly went back to sleep. It was obviously really tired.
"Maybe we'll at least have some classes together? Or... Study halls or something?" He said, hopefully. He had to try to look at the bright side. Maybe she would be allowed to sit here for now? Maybe. He doubted it in the pit of his stomach, but was happy for this momentary opportunity.
