"Me neither... That's odd, I don't recall ever seeing anyone from my house use it to get to the library, and it's a pretty good shortcut... There's no way we're the first ones to find it either, the school is way too old..."
Lilianne shrugged as she reajusted her bag on her shoulder.
"I'll try to remember how we got there so I can use it again... Should we go in now? Maybe we should compare notes on that transfiguration essay, I'm really not sure I got it right..."

"Ohhhh! I wonder where we'll end up!" Lilianne said, though the excitement in her voice felt half-forced.
Only half, though, because even if she wasn't ready to admit it to herself, a part of her was enjoying the exploration.
She hurried after Keladry, eager to get out of the darkness.

"Okay... Well, what could go wrong, anyway, right?"
I could think of a few things...
Lilianne shook her head, denying herself the thoughts. She followed after Keladry down the dark stairs, Dinsdale peeking out from her hood curiously.
"I wish we'd learned that nifty wand light spell yet... Isa's pretty good at it, she used it to light up her face when she'd tell me scary stories when I was younger..."

"Are you sure we should? I mean, we don't know where that leads..."
Lilianne swayed on the spot for a while, hesitating. Hogwarts was such a fun place to explore. Yet with all that had happened lately she could barely handle being alone in the corridors...
On the other hand, there were aurors all over the place. She had to admit Hogwarts had to be at it's safest right now.
Still clutching her wand over her chest, she finally took a few steps after Keladry.

Lilianne had remained in front of the tapestry as Keladry walked past her a couple of times, unsure of what to suggest. She jumped slightly when she saw the wall facing the tapestry open up as Keladry was walking past yet again, though it honestly wasn't that much of a surprise in a place like Hogwarts.
She approached Keladry slowly as she inspected the opening. "I'm not sure you should go there, Kel... maybe we should just go back the way we came until I can recognise where we... Eeek!"
Lilianne let out a scream and put her hands to her mouth when Keladry toppled down. She rushed to the entrance of the passageway, blocking the light again. "... Are... are you okay?"

Lilianne froze for a while, her eyes wide open. After some time, she managed to move again to look around, clutching her wand with both hands over her heart.
"Oh no... I... I'm not sure where we are..." she muttered in that familiar weak, scared voice.
Don't panic don't panic don't panic...
She closed her eyes in concentration for a moment, and then, with a deep breath, she opened them again, taking in her surroundings.
"We're still on the seventh floor... we haven't taken any stairs, right? I don't think I've ever been there, but..." She stared at the moving tapestry where a wizard was foolishly attempting to teach trolls how to dance. "I think I've heard of that tapestry before..."
Lilianne looked at the tapestry intently, as if she was using it as a distraction from her own fear.

Lilianne's expression darkened again as she started rubbing her upper arm.
"Yeah... I guess all it took was something that'd make everyone too scared to go play outside, and make us realize just how important learning all this was for our safety..." she said, with a somewhat pained smile.

Lilianne smiled and chuckled lightly. "It looks like you'll be getting perfect grades on that report... You know, I'm sure Professor Longbottom wasn't expecting to get such thorough essays, but with the unexpected time extention... Some older Gryffindors have been telling me stories about their experiences with Devil's Snare, so I added a few extra paragraphs on the dangers of manipulating it. I hope Professor Longbottom doesn't mind..."

Lilianne jumped slightly when Keladry adressed her again.
She looked embarassed for a second before she composed herself.
"It... it sound great to me."
Lilianne was silent for a while, her senses still on alert. After a while she attempted to break the silence in an effort to get her mind off her worries.
"So hum... Have you finished that essay on Devil's Snare for Herbology? I just finished it this morning. It a bit longer than what Professor Longbottom asked, I hope he doesn't mind..."

"Hum, okay then, I'll go get my bag, it won't be long, it already has most of my things in it... I'll be right back." Lilianne said, before passing through the indignant Fat Lady, and coming back out a minute later with her bag on her back.
Dinsdale was back in his favorite spot inside the hood of Lilianne's cloak.
"Let's go..." Lilianne said, her voice betraying a certain unease. She took her wand out of her robes and kept close to Keladry, constantly looking around them as they went.

"It's all right...", said Lilianne, and she took a few steps forward before she stopped, and looked around.
"Hum, what did you want to do? Should I bring anything?", she said awkwardly.

Lilianne let out a shy laugh. "Don't worry about it... I've been spending most of my time either at the hospital wing, or back in the common room. I studied a bit, played with Dinsdale... I hope class starts back soon, people are getting restless cooped up in there so long..."
"You missed my parents though, they visited the day after... you know. I'd have loved to introduce you, but I wasn't sure we were allowed to visit other houses..."
Lilianne looked around them nervously again.
"Should we go somewhere? I'm not sure we're allowed to stay alone in the hallways, and I don't think I can bring you in our common room..."

"Oh, you're a friend of Lilianne? Good that you're here, maybe you can shake her out of her lethargy... Sure, I'll get her for you. Just a minute, guys!" The girl said with a wave to her friends before she went back through the portrait hole.
After a bit of time, the Fat Lady swung open again ("Oh sure, I didn't have anything better to do that spin around today!") and the girl stepped out again, a hand on Lilianne's shoulder.
The girl waved at the first years before she rejoined her waiting friends and they left, back to their loud chattering.
Lilianne was holding her hedgehog in her arms. She looked very tired as she walked up to Keladry, her sunken eyes indicating that she hadn't had a lot of sleep lately.
She also looked very nervous, and she kept shifting her sight to her sides.
"Oh, Hi, Kel! I'd been worried about you... I didn't see what happened to you in the Great Hall and I hadn't heard from you either... Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

[OOC: I'm gonna use some nameless npcs, because it would be too much of a coincidence that I'm the one that gets out first ]Not long after Kel conversed with the Fat Lady, her portrait swung open to let three students out. The girls looked to be in their fourth or fifth year. They almost didn't notice Keladry as they went on their way, chatting loudly, but one of them stopped as she saw Keladry standing there. "Oh, hello! Are you lost?"

Character Name: Lilianne Wesker
Character Age: 11
Wand: 9 1/2 inch Scots Pine, with a demiguise hair as the core.
Pet (if any): A hedgehog named Dinsdale.
Family History (Go into detail, if possible):
Lilianne's father, Harvey Wesker was born to a family of skilled wizards, leading to a lot of suprise and disapointment when he turned out to be a squib. Suspecting he had no magical powers, his parents sent him to pursue his magical education in Canada, at the Northern Star College of Mystical Studies, seeking to avoid too much exposition if he did turn out to be a squib. Harvey met there a muggle-born witch from Québec, Andréa Levesque, with whom he developped a close friendship as she was one of the rare students not to pick on him for struggling with magic. When he finally had to abandon magical education and returned to England where he was homeschooled instead, he kept correspondance with Andréa. His love of books and magical theory, even if he could not perform magic, made him turn to a career as a Librarian.
Meanwhile, Andréa grew up to become a chaser for the Quidditch team the Québec Clabberts. She visited Harvey often until their friendship blossomed into love and they got married. They had two daugthers 5 years apart, Isabelle and Lilianne. They live in Manchester, though Andréa's career takes her back to Canada for long periods of time.
Physical Description:
Lilianne has long, wavy golden blonde hair and dark brown eyes. She a bit taller and stockier than the average. She is rather tomboyish, dresses casually and does not pamper herself much. She does not style her hair much and just leaves it down.
Personality Description: (Go into detail, if possible)
Lilianne is a bit hyperemotive. As a young child because of how easy she would cry, she got teased a lot by other children, leading to her trying to shut herself down and hide her emotion, which would not be much effective as she'd just build up until she burst.
Since she is a black sheep, Lilianne does not make many friends. However the few friends she makes are true and she values them dearly. Not really outgoing, she spends a lot of time reading adventure books, or reading about and observing creatures, magical or not. She draws decently and likes to draw scenes from the books she reads. She enjoys watching her mom play Quidditch and can't wait to learn to fly a broom, if only to see how birds feel.
She does not get along so great with her older sister, who is more outgoing and social, and she wrongly believes her parents prefer Isabelle to her because of her success so far in Hogwarts.
Strengths:
Lilianne values her few friends above all and will do anything for them. She is studious and a quick learner, and she has a pretty wide imagination. She also has an affinity with animals.
Weaknesses:
Prone to outbursts, and tends to isolate herself. She is shy and underconfident and will rarely make the first steps towards people.
If given the opportunity - would you take part in a Quidditch team, a Book Club, a Potions group or an Afternoon Tea party?
I'd like to join the Quidditch team, but I know they won't pick me... I guess the book club would be fun...
If you found a wandering Kneazle, what would you do?
Double check in my book to make sure it really is a Kneazle and not a cat, and try to make friends with it.
What House would you like to be placed in (This is to be taken into consideration, though the Hat will ultimately make the final decision)?
My sister is in Ravenclaw, and she speaks highly of it, but I'm not sure I want to be in the same house as Miss Perfect. I suppose anything but Slytherin would do. You know what they say about Slytherins...
Please give us an example RP:
In the backyard of the Wesker's house sits a tall scots pine tree. Its lower branches hang down forming a large dome around it. For as long as she can remember, Lilianne has been using the tree as her hiding place, picturing the branches as shields protecting her from everything that made her sad.
Today Lilianne is sitting again against the pine's trunk, crying softly. Dinsdale, her hedgehog, looks up at her from her lap, sniffing the air curiously.
"Nah... I'll be okay, Din. I'm just... I'm just scared is all. I'm leaving for Hogwarts tomorow and I don't know how it's gonna be. I don't know anyone my age who's going. No, Dinah is a muggle, you know that. What if they tease me there too? I won't be able to come back here to hide..."
Dinsdale moves over to her hand and gives it a little shove with his nose, then rolls over on his back. Lilianne giggles, wiping her tears, and starts scratching his belly.
"Yeah. I know you'll be there with me. Whatever happens, I'll have you to talk to. I shouldn't cry, right? I'm gonna learn magic! I'm gonna meet other kids like me! Maybe they'll be nicer to me if they're wizards... As long as I don't blow it... What if I'm not good at magic? Dad said they'd pick on him all the time because he couldn't do magic..."
"Lilianne? Are you under that tree again?" A branch is pulled aside and Isabelle's head pokes through Lilianna's secret haven.
"I told you not to come in here!"
"Yeah, yeah, Whatever. Dad told me to come get you, supper's ready. Come on!"
Lilianne hastily finishes gathering her books, sketchpads and crayons into the box she kept hidden under her tree and picks it up under one arm, Dinsdale in the other, and she moves out to join her sister, who takes a good look at her face as she comes out of the shade and sighs loudly.
"Have you been crying again?"
"N.. No I haven't!"
"Oh, come on now Lil, you're eleven now! You're going to Hogwarts! You have to stop being such a crybaby if you want to fit in with the grown ups! When I was your age I wasn't such a baby now, I was looking forward to going to Hogwarts, not having mom and dad on my back all the time and..."
Not really listening to her sister, Lilianne starts following her back to the house. She stops midway though, and turns back to look at the tree, clutching the box holding her most precious belongings. She smiles sadly as she raises Dinsdale level with her face, and kisses him on the nose.
"Let's hope I can find another tree like this in Hogwarts... Maybe a bigger one too, I gotta admit this one was getting a bit cramped..."
Dinsdale lets out a happy squeal, and Lilianne starts back towards her house as the sun sets on her last day before the next step in her life...
