It didn't occur to him that he had been his straight on in the neck before he started coughing frantically. He decided it may be better not to get up for now, and he couldn't stop coughing. He wasn't sure if this would end right now or not, but it did, and he stopped. It scared him for a bit, but he was fine.
Throwing snowballs as quickly as he could at both Fay and Arcturus at point blank range, he hoped Kel would just hurry up already. He hoped he wouldn't have to surrender, but he would probably escape whatever 'jail' they set up for him...

Fay tried not to scream as a frontal attack was launched by the Gryffindor first year. She still kept watch at the back of the fort for any sign of Keladry, dutifully watching for any sign of an attack, just like Arcturus had asked.
Turning around every few seconds to see the projectiles and act accordingly, Fay ducked and dodged the snowballs thrown at her. Before she knew what was happening, she still couldn't see Kel but a few snowballs rained down from that direction.
Fay sighed, and turned to Arcturus. "Keladry's on her way, I think. The snowballs are already coming."
{Oh my gosh so sorr! I totally forgot about the snowball fight!}

Arcturus was rolling on the ground wrestling with the Gryffindor first year. They were both throwing snow at each other like crazy. Arcturus, being larger was being somewhat less soaked with snow.
"That's great, Fay!" Arcturus yelled from the ground. "Hold her off as long as possible! If she ever leaves, then can you please help me?!"
Arcturus thought it was distinctly undignified, rolling around in the snow.

Kel heard everything Fay and Arcturus said and quickly decided to make her entrance quick, surprising and powerful. Quietly scooping snow into another snowball, she tensed her muscles. . . then jumped up, tossed the snowball into Fay's face, leaped over the wall. . . straight onto a tussling Arcturus and Stevie. She started shoving Arcturus off Stevie, but his hands were firmly gripping the younger boy and he was heavy, so she wasn't sure if this tactic would work all that well. Her 'overpower the opposition' plan wasn't going exactly the way she had planned, but she quickly changed her idea and attacked their fort, grabbing a handful of the snow forming the walls and pegging the seemingly still-stunned Fay with it. Breathless, though all of this had taken a mere ten or so seconds, she turned back to the males.

Suddenly Kel came out of nowhere into him!! She wasn't that strong, though, so no biggie. She stood back up to throw a snowball at Fay. Arcturus grabbed himself some snow and waited . . . .
There! She started turning back to him. As soon as she was profile to him he threw back his arm. He pegged her!! Right in the face as she was turning! Owned! He then re-entangled himself with the Gryffindor firstie. Kel would have a hard time hitting him with a snowball when she couldn't tell him from the Gryffie.

In that small amount of time it took for Acrturus to grab a snowball, Stevie gathered one himself, and brought up his knees. He grinned inwardly.
As the older person once again entangled with him, he kicked his legs out, and threw the snowball. Bullseye, square in the chest. He scrambled up and ducked to the side, making a few snowballs when he was down. He didn't realize he was absolutely soaked with snow yet.

Kel shook snow out of her face, and managed to open her eyes in time to have an extremely heavy Arcturus MacDougal hit her legs. She tumbled over him, landing. . . she didn't know where. She seemed to be enveloped in wetness, though. She fought her way out of the constricting cocoon of snow, spitting half-melted and totally-melted snow out of her mouth, blinking profusely to get it out of her eyes. Arcturus had had ample time to stand up, get a couple dohnuts, blow Stevie to kingdom come, visit the restroom, get a college degree or three and glug a nice cup of hot cocoa. Kel looked around her warily, a handful of snow at the ready.

Fay screamed bloody murder as Keladry pegged her with tons of snow, and then as soon a the girl's back was turned she returned the favor.
She gathered up a large handful and threw it at Keladry's head, and then ran around to her other side to see what she could do for Arcturus. This snow battle had to be over soon, they had been out for a long time and frost bite didn't seem so inviting.

Arcturus burst up from the ground, vaulted over the wall and took cover just outside his fort. He noticed he was freezing to death. The lack of feeling in his fingers or toes was a dead giveaway.
He poked his head over the ramparts of the firsties former fort.
"Hey guys! I'm freezing to death! Wanna call it a draw?"

Kel, who had just had another load of freezing snow dumped on her from an anonymous source and was acutely unaware of the lack of feeling in her toes and legs, replied gratefully to Arcturus' suggestion.
"That sounds great! Why don't we head in and find some hot chocolate!"
Surprised a little at this idea, which had just popped out of her mouth without planning, the damp 'Puff found that she liked the prospect a lot, and smiled around at their little bedraggled group.

"Sure!" Stevie said, grinning at the hot chocolate idea. He liked hot chocolate. Or, anything with chocolate IN it. Or anything sugary, for that matter. But, then again, Stevie didn't know anyone who turned down a nice, hot cup of hot chocolate.

Kel turned to Fay, waiting for her response, the prospect of that hot chocolate in her minds eye, her mouth watering at the thought of the warm, creamy, lovely, chocolately liquid sliding down her throat as she gulped it down. . . pure bliss.

"Sure." Fay replied. She was feeling the effects of a prolonged romp in the snow. "That idea sounds very tempting!"
[Alright, so we can close this now, right?]

"Yay!" Kel exclaimed jubilantly, then immediately started off for the door back into the castle.
"C'mon!" She tossed back over her shoulder, then kept going, the large mug of hot chocolate flying around in her imagination spurring her onward.
{Yup, I guess this is pretty much over with. . . we could start up a thread in the kitchens, I guess, but maybe there isn't much to talk about. . . ?}
