That evening Minka gathered the Huffle students in the common room as promised. She was happy with the turn out. As far as she could tell, almost all the Huffle students were present from all grades.
It was a little awkward having so many students crammed in one place, standing almost shoulder to shoulder, some sitting on the armrests of the chairs and sofas some sitting on each other's lap, some sat cross-legged on the floor before the professor, who had found herself a small stepping stool, but over all the majority stood.
The head of house was wearing her usual Romanian dress, a long sleeve embroidered blouse tucked into a pair of kid skin leather gloves and a long and wide thin scarf wrapped high around her neck. She more a long multilayered skirt over her kid-skin knee high boots.
The professor cleared her throat and didn't need bother with the Sonarus spell. Anyone who talked out of turn, got a nasty glare.
She spoke loudly, her voice piercing the mummer of students.
"Attention please!" She motioned with both gloved hands for the students to quiet down. "I have been watching the house point scores since the beginning of the year, and I have to say that I'm disappointed in you. We are currently just tailing behind Slytherin, which is pathetic because from what I understand of Hufflepuff, you are all supposed to be a well behaved bunch. I have caught some of you out of bed after hours." She made a point of not looking at all at Neoma, as not to single her out. "And some of you are falling asleep in classes, and too few of you have even attempted to answer questions correctly in classes. I don't think it would be too difficult for you students to follow the very simple rules put into place at Hogwarts." She took a deep breath and nearly shouted, "So stop slacking and pick up the pace!" She lowered her voice again,"At the very least don't come in dead last! Any questions?"
