{2.1 means Second Term, First Class}
It was the first week of school after Christmas Holidays, and Elsbeth sat behind her desk awaiting the arrival of her 7th year Potions Class.
They were just about ready to move on from the section on Veritaserum and delve into the topic of Wolfsbane and, soon enough, Draught of Living Death.
Some students trickled in as time passed, leaving five minutes before class started. In mere moments they would begin the second term of NEWT level Potions.

Claire walked into the potions classroom, she hoped she could pretend that she had never said what she did in the last class, though she knew that if there was any muggle borns in there then they certainly wouldn't be the most forgiving. She kept her head down as she sat down in a seat near the middle, avoiding to look at anyone, mabe they had forgotton, no they wouldn't forget so quick. She sighed slightly and waited for the rest of the students to come in.

"Welcome back," Elsbeth said, with a smile, as the last few students finally arrived. "We'll start right away."
"Seing as we've finished our unit on Veritaserum, we'll be starting on Woflsbane potion, today. This unit will last for a few weeks due to the highly delicate brewing procedure and function of the potion."
She stood up and walked around the front of the classroom as she spoke. "Wolfsbane is used for neutralizing werewolves, as you've all learned, and has different side effects depending on the brewing process. It is not recommended that you botch this potion, as the result could be a very angry puppy on your hands." her lips curved to a grin at her last words.
"Alright, so we know why this potion exists, but what about its history? That's important to know in order to go into the brewing process properly informed. Please turn to page 491 in Advanced Potion Making and read the entire chapter."

Claire opened her book to page 491 as instructed, she read the chapter through thoroughly. And when she was done she looked up, most of the class had finished now, with only a few people left to finish it. She leaned back slightly in her seat awaiting further instructions.

Elsbeth gazed around the classroom as her seventh year students delved into their reading chapter. It would be best to end class when they finished reading instead of having to stop in the middle of the next portion of the lesson.
As the last students finished reading to themselves, Elsbeth ended class "Alright students, time's up. We'll continue with this unit next class. Now off you go!"
The class was dismissed.
