Everything was set up for the class; the brooms were ordered, the helmets and gear were placed. Aesir was up about 200 feet, goggles on as he stared out to the sky.
Don't like the weather today. Clouds aren't lookin' right. We'll go on fer a bit, and if the wind decides to be too much, I'll cancel it.
Slowly, his descent began. The stream of students arriving was already visible.
And I swear, if one other bright fella decides to break his face, I'll make that broom disappear without magic.

Neoma had dreaded this class ever since the Ravenclaw student's... umm... 'bright idea' from last class. She slowly came down the hill to join with the rest of the group of first years that had sorted. Poking her head out of the side of the group, looking at Aesir. Wondering if he had gotten a chance to get his frustrations out since that class. If not, then now would be a good a time as any.
Neoma gulped nervously.

Aesir silently took the absences on the parchment as he kept looking over his shoulder towards the horizon, a worried look on his face. His eyes came upon Neoma and he gave her a ever so slightly frustrated look.
"Miss Tsylence, ye think ye can tell that friend o' yers, Miss Lindenshield she still has detention this week? She never showed up. If she wants to lose some house points, tell her to not come to me office. Though she's doin' a good job about it right now." he said, his voice tinged with worry. Finally, he looked over his shoulder and up at the cloudy sky. "ALright. All of ye, wait here. No touchin' brooms."
With that, he hopped upon his broom and flew upwards once more, goggles in place.

Stevie sprinted up to the field, hoping to god he wasn't late. All the while, chanting a mantra of 'Stupid Slytherins...' in his head. Some thought it would be funny to knock over Stevie's books. About a million times. Sure, he didn't need any books, but he had to put his books somewhere.
He arrived where he should be, only panting slightly. It was amazing how much energy he had, and once he put his books in a safe spot, he sprinted all the way. Though, he doubted it would help any. Oh well. He'd serve the detention he was inevitably going to receive. He obviously was distraught. He seemed not to notice his hair, all over his face where it was normally completely out of his face. He couldn't notice it now. He was too worried about his detention.

((OOC: Sorry! I thought that the detention was going to be after this class! I'll come to your office after class, okay?))
Kel was late. Again. She cursed herself, and the stupid twisting corridors that had slowed her on her way from her last class. She jogged into class, panting only slightly. She grabbed the nearest broom and stood at attention, ready to take her punishment like a man. . . er, girl.

No, those clouds're bringin' nasty weather this way. Those kids'll be like toothpicks in a hurricane. No way, no how. Don't want no more ter get hurt.
He began his slow descent and looked down to the ground, picking out faces of late students. He was about to take note of Stevie when he saw out of the corner of his eye, a student with a broom in hand.
Kel.
From aboard his broom, he looked down to the students, flashing a mirthless grin. "Ah, Keladry Lindenshield. I'm so glad you've decided to grace us with yer presence! I suppose I should be grateful that you've decided to drop by, it really is a rare opportunity these days! Fifteen points from Hufflepuff!"
He finally decended and took a few angry steps towards her, slinging his broom over his shoulder and snatching hers from her hands. "Five for being late, five for having a broom against me saying 'No brooms' and five fer not comin' to detention!" he said through clenched teeth. He did not seem happy at all.

Stevie watched the whole thing, slightly scared. That was a feat in itsself, Stevie was not normally scared or much. But, those were just horror movies. This was real life, and he faced getting house points taken away from an angry Aesir! He doubted he'd skip over him. Sure, he'd accept his punishment and try not to lose his stride, but he couldn't help but start to hate Slytherin with a passion.
He gulped. Not audibly, but he did. He was already seething, so what would happen to Stevie now? Maybe, just maybe if he was lucky, he'd get a chance to explain himself... If Slytherin lost points... Would THAT be a win! He'd be sure to gloat if that happened. Though, still on his face was the same expression as before, the mantra in his mind still going strong.

Kel mentally winced, but her face stayed still. Carefully, the unlucky Hufflepuff set the broom down, hoping that this wouldn't be against the rules, too. Her mind flitted briefly over the points taken for missing the detention. Kel had thought he meant next week as in a week from last week, which would have been today. She decided she'd ask the professor about it after class, and faced front again, after making sure the broom wouldn't roll under anyone's feet.

His gaze wavered and he looked over to the rest of the class. "Class is dismissed. Next week's class as well, until we fix up this area properly for the winter." he said evenly, looking about to some students. He gaze stayed on a small group of girls. "And I recommend against wearing skirts. Please, be a little more intelligent an' bring some pants unless yer not shy against that kinda thing. But I'm not particularly interested in seein' ye embarrassed, nor is everyone else. Lindenshield, pick up the equipment an' come with me. I'll snag the brooms. My office, now."
With that, he began picking up the brooms to go to his office.

Kel grabbed what equipment there was on the ground and headed after the Flying professor, wondering what the detention would be like. She had never actually had a detention, though she had heard other girls talking about it. They said that they had to do chores and suchlike, or write lines. The unhappy Hufflepuff hoped that she wouldn't have to write lines. That would be most tedious.
'Maybe I'll do some of this 'readying for winter' that he was talking about. I wouldn't mind working outside. It would almost be fun to look up at the sky and imagine things. . .' Kel started to get lost in thought, but brought herself back as she got toward Professor MacLeod's office.
((OOC: I say we continue this in your office. Should I start the thread or would you like the pleasure?))
