Nicholas barely turned his head to the side to address his wife. "I'm not quite sure sweetheart. Close the door please, I don't want the kids getting scared. She's made it quite clear she doesn't want us to know who she is right now."
Swiftly, he drew his wand and had it pointed at the woman, holding it almost like a police officer with a pistol. "Were this a few hundred years ago, I would have gladly escorted you to the dungeons myself, but until you state your name and business concerning this facility and it's employees I'm going to have to ask you to hand over your wand slowly. Your blatant disregard for the laws and regulations placed by the Ministry is in direct violation of Young Witch and Wizard Protection Act. If you take any hostile actions, you will be held accountable for assault and the infraction of the aforementioned Act. Now I'm going to ask you this once, and only once while you hand over the wand slowly: Who are you and what is it you want. If you do not answer the question directly, I will be forced to escort you from the premises personally and report you to the proper authorities."
Nicholas kept a fair distance from the woman, a disarming spell waiting to be released at a moments notice.

Elsbeth answered as politely as she could muster, keeping her anger to herself. At least the woman was being a tad bit civil, even though an insult to her staff had been thrown in. "Yes, you'd want to go back where you came from... I mean, the Entrance Hall, of course. From there is a staircase leading down to the Dungeons, and then you simply follow the corridors."
Then Nicholas caught up them and went into Auror mode. Before the woman could state her business, though, realization dawned on Elsbeth.
She spoke before anyone continued. "Though it depends what or whom you're trying to find..." she recognized the facial features at that point, and added in a quiet "Miss Novim."

Althea grabbed shooed her daughter who also decided to investigate the commotion in the hallway back inside the chambers, closing the door behind her. "Isabelle, no, back inside." The three year old glanced at the mysterious woman before practically being shoved into the room by her mother. Althea locked the door behind her with a brass key. Althea stood guard at the door. She let out a quiet "Oh." When Elsbeth mentioned who it might be and recognized the familiar features of the woman.
Well, then, Miss Novim... I should still lock the doors...

The eyes of the blond haired women moved sideways, and her head turned to stare at the gruff looking man. Her smile nearly vanished, save for one corner which was still curved upwards. Looking at the Headmistress, she made a remark upon the man.
"Quite the copper this one ain't he?" She then turned on her heal and slammed her foot down as she looked into the eyes of the man.
"Unfortunately for you Sir, and for myself as well, my wand is presently not on my person. It is being repaired, and as such I am wandless. As to the matter of who I am..." The woman perked an eyebrow when her name was spoken from the lips of the Headmistress. She even gazed with her lips parted at the woman, as if she had been struck in the face. "Very good indeed lady. I knew you had the wits about you...." The woman smiled. She has to compensate for that figure somehow.
She then turned back to Nicholas. "As the lady says, I am Miss Novim, and I'm here on family bussiness which quite frankly does not concern you." She smiled sweetly.

"Yes, he's a professional," she said, with admiration in her voice. "Well, I work closely with your brother, as he is my Deputy, after all. It would be rather sad had I not realized who you are."
Elsbeth turned around to address the knight, "Nick it's alright, I'll just take her to her brother. Then you can interrogate the both of them, if you'd like"

Daviv was so close to just starting spewing out insults a mile a minute, but she was, apparently, Orynn's family. Great. Well, that did stop him from insults, but it didn't stop him from his next question.
"And what do you mean by that?" He asked, about ready to reach for his wand. But, he didn't. He had more control than that.

Nicholas gave a small nod to the Headmistress, easing up the slightest fraction. "Until I see some identification, I'm not going to feel comfortable with her parading around the castle to see her 'brother'."
He gave a slight smile to the lady and a small nod. "Forgive me Madame, but I too have no patience when it comes to imbeciles who are ignorant of the laws placed. Especially when children's well being's are on the line. I'm sure you'll understand that until I have reason to believe otherwise, I can only think of you as highly as a criminal."

Miss Novim shot the Librarian an irritated look. "It meant precisely as it sounded."
She smiled as the Headmistress spoke, apprently very pleased as to her ruling. Nicholas apparently objected, and was not yet feeling secure.
"Identification?" The woman started. "There is no reason for me to indulge in your incessant worries. Your superior has already deemed it safe for me to be escorted to my brother, and has therefore overruled your judgement. Good for her too, as she would know that a proper school cannot be well-protected if it is to be subjected to a man's feelings." The woman smiled before finishing; "And I will be damned if I am to be influenced by your thinkings of me either." The woman giggled behind a tight lipped mouth before turning to the Headmistress.
"Now then, I do not mean to press you, but I really do need to see my brother. On we go then?" The woman was obviously impatient, and doing a poor job of hiding it. She tapped her cane on the ground every so often, as if the ticking would push things along faster.

Nicholas coolly looked to the Headmistress then back to the woman. He shrugged, as though he'd heard bravado and insults like this a hundred times before and loosed a Tongue-Tying Curse on the woman. He tongue immediately rolled back and stuck to the roof of her mouth, making her incapable of speech.
"My superior might have deemed it safe, but I'm sure she'd appreciate your sharp tongue sheathed lest you take another stab at someone. As for the schools protection and this man's feelings, mine are towards keeping children safe. Why would a Headmistress share those feelings with a man, anyway. Downright ridiculous. And Madam, I think you're probably damned already from many more things already than my opinion of you. You are still an unauthorized visitor whose proven nothing short of disagreeable, rude and disrespectful to even the highest authority of this private establishment. You are a trespasser. If you wish, I can go and ask the Deputy Headmaster if he has any time for his 'sister' or at least to confirm your claim, seeing as how you refused to offer identification." Nicholas said as he kept his wand trailed on her. His voice kept a firm rehearsed authority about it. "I told you to play nice."

"She's lying about being wandless... She's carrying a cane- I'm sure it's in there, since she clearly doesn't need it to walk... She refuses to tell us who she really is, and she's lying about being 'unarmed.' Why are we putting up with this? Escort her off the premises..." Althea had little tolerance for the snobbish woman claiming to be Orynn's sister. Not only was she absolutely sure she was lying about concealing her wand and generally being rude, but Althea just wanted her gone even if she was telling the truth about who she was.

Elsbeth sighed; she wished things would get on already. The lady's identity had been established and so had her destination. She wouldn't ruin the knight's fun, however, and simply kept her mouth shut for the moment.

Quick small steps and another few, and around the corner, barging past the woman and the others with audible.
"Excuse me, pardon me, sorry...In a bit of a hurry yes, sorry.."
He made it dodging around the headmistress, Nicolas, and the Librarian and got about halfway down the steps before stopping, blinking and then turning his head looking up with Nicolas's wand drawn and the headmistress there, and this woman at point blank range from the Auror.
"Err....Okay..."
He leans over to the closest person not seeming directly involved, so the librarian.
In an audible whisper.
"What's going on..."

"This woman who simply barged in here, apparently Orynn's sister, bad-mouthed everyone here. Except Althea, I think. I haven't really been paying attention." He whispered back.
"She said she'd 'deal with me first', so I really can care less if she meets with Orynn or not." He added, still a whisper.

"Ah well, family's all the same."
He shrugs dismissively.
"All bark no bite, looks like things are under control here anyway. With Nicholas and the headmistress? Yes, i dare say that they'll be fine."

The woman reeled backwards, catching herself on the staircase hand-rests, as her tongue rolled into upon itself. She dropped her cane and it tapped loudly on the floor as she glared at Nicholas. She clearly was not happy, but what could she do?
She bent down and picked up her cane and continued to tap it irritatingly on the ground. She looked up at the Headmistress, and her gaze told her that she'd lost some respect from the woman. She looked venomously at anyone she cast her eyes upon, in the end, it did look like she accepted the fact that she was powerless.
She looked at the Headmistress, and then Nicholas one after the other. Shrugging her shoulders with great exageration, as if to ask "what now?"
