Dr. Althea can be found in the nurse's office getting herself settled in. Carrying some boxes piled high in her arms she awkwardly slips through the doorway, setting the heavy pile of boxes on the large desk. Her eldest son, Vincent has a small box with him, which obviously has little to nothing in it which he sets down on the chair.
Tenderly, she says to her son, "Oh, thank you, honey, you're a big help." She hugs him and fluffs his hair.
She begins to open the boxes and places her belongings on the shelves which consist mostly of medical texts and mediwizard spell books. She pulls out 2 framed diplomas. One from Hogwarts class of 2009 and one doctorate of medicine from the University of London class of 2016. She the proceeds to hang them on the wall behind her desk. She takes a step back to admire them and the adjusts them so that they're straight, smiling to herself as she does so.
She places on her desk a framed photo of her entire family. Nicholas stands behind her, arm around her shoulder smiling proudly, the other resting on Vincent's shoulder who sports an exaggerated smile of his own. His little sister, Isabelle has her arms behind her back and smiling mischievously. Althea holds in her arms, her youngest Edward and looks to be about 6 months old at the time of the photo. The happy family stands outside on a sunny day in front of a flowering bush of some kind.
She hangs on the office door a hand painted wooden sign that reads: "Please come in!" She proceeds to spend most of the afternoon tidying up and arranging her belongings. While her son attempts to help her, eventually getting distracted by Hermes, Althea's black footed ferret familiar. Vincent plays with him on the floor of her office.

Elsbeth had been notified of the new school nurse's impending arrival just a day or two before, and she was glad to hear that the woman had finally arrived. The Defence Against the Dark Arts professor had sent her a letter informing her of this, for after all, the new school nurse was none other than his wife. She wanted to personally welcome her onto the Hogwarts staff, and wish her a good start to the new term.
Standing in front of the Hospital Wing doors, Elsbeth smiled at the friendly hand painted sign in front of her. She knocked softly, but still loud enough to be heard, and waited for admittance.

"Good afternoon, Headmistress. Please do come in." She smiled.
Vincent scooped up the ferret in his arms, letting the poor rodent's hind quarters dangle uncomfortably. Hermes squeaked. The child hid behind his mother and shyly peered at Elsbeth.
"Oh, honey, be gentle with Hermes." Vincent put the squirming creature down and as soon as it had all fours back on the ground, it climbed Althea's robes and perched himself on her shoulder.
"What can I do for you?"

With a friendly smile, Elsbeth began. "Mrs Lannsman, I just wanted to formally introduce myself, and see that you and your children are settling in nicely. I trust everything is to your liking?" She finished off with a gesture to the room, inquiring if the room and facilities were satisfactory.
On Elsbeth's shoulder was her Carry-All bag, now empty, except for the Medical Potions inside. She would give these to the nurse, for they were really for her supplies.

"It's a pleasure, Miss Pierce, and everything is more than perfect. Soon I'll be taking inventory, making sure I know where everything is... I'm sure it's all there. Hogwarts has always had fantastic facilities."
She gently nudged her eldest son in front of her, "Say hello Vincent, This is Elsbeth." The five year old boy looked up at the headmistress with his green eyes, undoubtedly his father's with an index finger in the corner of his mouth. His some of his dark curly locks fell into his face.
Althea pushed his hand out of his mouth and brushed the hair out of his eyes, setting both hands on his shoulders, presenting him to the woman in front of him.
"Hello, pleased to meet you." The child finally blurted out.

"What a strapping young lad! It's nice to meet you, too, Vincent." she said as she bent down a little to be closer to eye level with the child.
Straightening up, Elsbeth continued with her conversaton. "Inventory? Glad I caught you before you could start. I have some stock for you, from the Apothecary."

Althea's expression turned to one of curiosity. "Oh that's great, the more the better, what is it?"
The ferret sniffed the air in front of him, curious of the stranger. He placed his tiny black paws on Althea's cheek and stuck his cold, wet nose in her ear. The Nurse twitched with surprise.
"Ah!- Alright, I'll introduce you too." She pushed his paws off her cheek with a single finger and rubbed his chin. "Elsbeth, this is Hermes, Hermes, Elsbeth."

Elsbeth let out a little chuckle as she was intorduced to the nurse's pet ferret. It was an adorable creature. "Lovely to meet you Hermes." she said, as she petted his little head.
Taking back her arm, Elsbeth removed her bag from her shoulder and balanced it on one knee. She fished through it and removed 4 jars, stacked together, of different colored salves and pastes. "The newest releases of the basic medical solutions."
Pointing to the jar of a Yellow substance with her other hand, she continued. "This is the newest Bruise-Healing Paste, and this is the new release of the Burn Healing Paste." and she pointed the one directly underneath it.
"Here we have the latest Star Grass Salve," she continued as she pointed to the greenish looking concoction. Lastly, she pointed to the bottom most one. "And then there's the improved Pepper-Up Potion. I think we'll be needing that one this winter if it's anything like the one we had last year."

"Oh fantastic! You can never have too much Pepper-Up potion. I'll make sure all this gets put in a safe place. Thank you very much." She took the jars from the headmistress and temporarily placed them on her desk.
"Hopefully, my husband will be here soon, I know that he had some last minute shopping to do in Hogsmeade... Any excuse, I guess not to help me unpack." She giggled to herself "...I know him, he'll get distracted by some book and only leave the store when he's read a good chunk of it..." Althea stopped herself, when she realized she was digressing into a tangent.
"Anyway, I can't thank you enough for the lovely chambers you've so kindly loaned us- not to mention the House elves to help us and the children."

"Ah, last minute shopping," Elsbeth said, nodding in agreement. "I took care of that this morning. And yesterday. And I'll probably have it again, tomorrow. I always forget to buy something I need very much, though I don't remember until I've returned to the castle."
She swatted at a few errant strands of hair that had fallen in front of her face, and then continued. "Wonderful. If you're quite settled now, and there's nothing else I can do for you, I'm afraid I must get back to my office."

"Everything is just fine, thank you for checking up on us. If there's anything, I'll notify you." Althea smiled gratefully, as the head mistress took her leave.
