Soft footfalls again announce his presence towards the gargoyle. Yet, unlike his normal distracted self, he appears set and not at all lost. Marching with purpose, he makes his way to the gargoyle, past it, and then up the stairs where he knocks gently on the Headmistress' door.

(Just so we know, it's not early morning because that's when Elsbeth's meeting the Weskers. Lets say afternoon, then.)
Elsbeth sat at her desk, with parchments flooding the surface area and discarded letters on the floor. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed, there was too much paper work after a sitation like what had happened the night before.
A gentle knock on the door interrupted her, and she gladly accepted the distraction. "Please come in!"

Syhinad took a bit of a breath and nodded to himself. He opened the door and entered. Resplendant in his silver and black robes, he came and closed the door polietly behind him.
"Good morrow Headmistress, I hope your doing well. One can only imagine the..."
His eyes find their way to her desk and he nods in almost a 'thought so' way.
"Ah, well the beuraucracy seems to have taken its turn to rear its ugly head."
Meant as a light joke he moves to stand over closer to her desk.
"The attacks recently have me worried Headmistress that there might be something wrong with the castle wards. I was coming to ask if you wished that I took a perimeter check of the eniter grounds maybe placing early warning wards as well as checking the old wards as well to see if there's anything I can add or repair to them if they've been damaged."

Elbeth attempted a smile at the Charms professor's greeting, but it wasn't quite successful. Instead, she answered as best as she could. "Yes, too much paper work, if you ask me. Highly unnecessary, but when the ministry gets involved..."
She shook her head, gaining back her train of thought. "Right, the wards, you say? If you'd like to, go right ahead and do a perimiter check. Might I suggest the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, the Quidditch Pitch, and entrance courtyard as a starting point? Those would seem to be strategic points of entry."

"I've already taken the liberty of examining the Forbidden Forest, but I still will require a little more work to be sure of my findings. I'll work on the open areas after."
He looks at the Headmistress.
"Is all alright? Apart from the intense paper work, is something the matter?"

Elsbeth almost snapped back at Syhinad, but managed to speak in a somewhat civil tone. "As alright as things can be, considering monsters managed to get inside my school and attack my staff and students."
"I just need to get through this paperwork and make sure my school is safe and I'm sure things will pull through at some point."

Syhinad seems to catch Elsbeth's mood and nods, stepping back a bit.
"I'll let you get back to your affairs and I'll work on mine then, if there is anything else i can do to help you please don't hesitate to ask."

"Thank you, Syhinad," she said, sincerely. "I'll keep that in mind." Elsbeth then began to return to her mounds of paperwork, one parchment at a time.

He nodded and turned on his heel closing the door behind him.
