Stevie watched everyone follow, and followed behind, in the back, fumbling to fit the book in his pocket. He watched as Lilianne got skates from magic. He looked at the ice. He needed no magic!
He got a running start, and slid on his stomach, making sure not to stray too far out into the lake. Who knows what could happen. The ice cracking would not be fun. Nuh-uh. That would actually be a really horrible situation, though the sixth year would probably get him out of the trouble. But he'd ruin the fun for everyone.

Isabelle beamed at her sister. "I've done this with my friends a couple of times in the past winters, I was sure you'd like this."
She grinned as Stevie took a dive onto the ice.
"You're sure you wouldn't rather have these?" she said, now transfiguring her boots and Keladry's into skates.

"Yup!" Stevie said, taking another dive and this time, spinning. He was obviously having fun with this, and luckily for him, his book didn't fly out. It was snug in his pocket.

((I'm baaa-aaack! Thanks for keeping me busy, you guys! Or rather, Kel! )) "Wheeee!" Kel skated clear of Isabelle and Lilianne, skating a small circle around the flat figure of Stevie - still obviously hyped up on sugar - and out a little more. She didn't go too far, though the ice was quite thick; she didn't want to fall through in ice skates, no way.

[OOC: Sorry, I sorta forgot the thread with all the stuff that happenned on the board. I'll bring a sort of closure to it, because I think the essential of it was done, and we've moved on to later on in the timeline.]
Isabelle skated with her sister and her friends for a good while, showing them a few moves she learned and trying to help them mimic them.
She was pretty content. Isabelle had been worried her christmas away from both her friends, and her extended family would be miserable, but she had decided to turn to the only family she had at hand, and make the best of the day.
I'd say, this has been quite a success. I think I managed to make this day worth remembering... We might not be home, but this is close enough.
Henson and Dinsdale kept playing in the snow by the edge of the lake with the other pets, as they kept on playing on the ice until they got hungry, and went back in the school to enjoy the Christmas Feast.
