[pink][Shyinad wasn't godplaying, Nicholas was.][/pink]
At some point in time (though somewhat earlier than expected) Althea finds Nicholas in the crowd. "I'm going to bed, shall I leave Vincent and Isabelle with you? Or shall I take them with me when I put Edward to bed?" Althea looked tiered and fed up of the party. "I'm not feeling 100%"

[Don't godplay my character, thanks.]
Althea doesn't fell like moshing in an expensive costume with children. (Students or her own.)

"Oh honey, it's daddy, he's just wearing a costume... See, Edward likes it." She said reassuringly to Isabelle who hid under her skirt. She gently nudged her back into the open. "What do you say kids?" She nodded an ok to Syhinad to give them the candy.
"Thank you!"
She looked to Syhniad, "Oh that's too bad, but there will be someone else I'm sure..."
She made a twisted face at Nicholas' mention of being sewn up one to many times. "I wish I didn't have to keep gluing you back together... Somehow trouble always manages to find you... Well at least your resigned your post as an auror. One too many close calls for my liking..."

Althea smiled wide at Syhinad, "It's good to see you too and by Stath, you mean Heilmann, but it's Lannsman now anyway. It's been so long! How've you been? I had no idea you were teaching here... No one comes to visit me in the hospital wing unless they're bleeding... Anyway, this is Vincent and Isabelle, and this is Edward." She tickled the baby making him giggle a bit."Kids, this is Syhinad."
"Hello." They shyly said.

"Hello, Shellivia. Yes, It appears that wings are in this year." She stuck out an arm, showing off her wing span and smiled. "Though yours are a fair bit more impressive. Pegasus, I suppose? And thank you, I'm well. I hope so are you."
Edward squirmed in her arms and fought to be let free. "Gaaah!" He squealed, as he pointed a finger at Shelly, and then quickly stuffed his finger in his mouth.
"Oof!" She readjusted her grip on the frog-baby. "He really wants to be put down- He's been really energetic as of late...Say hello kids." She said, looking down at Vincent and Isabelle.
"Hello Shellivia." They said in a sing-song voice together.

Althea entered the hall she wearing an elaborate swan costume. Her white knee length dress puffed out at the sides and the fringe was cut to resemble the shapes of feathers. The bustle that stuck out from behind looked like tail feathers. The sleeves where tight and on the insides of her arms had the same fabric from her dress cut into the shape of wings. Her hair was slicked and tied back and pinned to it was a hat that resembled a swan head, the black beak forming a point half way down the bridge of her nose. The whole dress shimmered with sequins. She wore black leggings and black shoes underneath the dress.
Her children, followed her in, Vincent was dressed as a knight. His costume consisted of shinny silver material to look like it was joined armor. His silver hat had a red plume sticking out the top. At his hip he carried a fake wooden sword.
His sister Isabelle was dressed in a frilly pink medieval style dress complete with a pointed hat with a silk scarf sticking out the top. She carried a sequin wand with a star at the top.
Althea carried in her arms, Edward the youngest of the children, dressed like a frog. he wore a bright green sleeper with a yellow belly. The hood had 2 bulgy eyes on top. The feet of the out fit were sewn to look like flippers and flopped back and forth when the baby kicked.
Althea surveyed the hall, commenting and complimenting the student's costumes as well as the staff's. Her eyes fell on the demonic knight in the hall.
"Oh no..." She said quietly to herself...

"That's very good to know. I will most likely be seeing you lot then, I've got a bit of a green thumb myself. I've already got some potted plants on the windows sills of the hospital wing..."
Admitably, Althea didn't really like her children being referred to as foals, but said nothing about the subject, as she knew that Shellevia only meant well.
"Thank you, we are very proud of them."
As her gaze drifted down the table at the rest of the staff, she noticed Orynn's glare. When her eyes made contact for a brief moment, she quickly looked away and blinked a couple times.
That look sends shivers down my spine...

Althea almost glared at her husband, now throughly giving up on the idea that he might actually properly introduce her. Slightly annoyed that he seemed to have forgotten all about her existence, as he skipped over her to introduce their children first.
She deliberately extend a hand towards Shellevia, cutting across Nicholas's plate instead of arcing behind his chair, keeping him momentarily from his meat and potatoes.
"Hi, I'm Dr. Althea Lannsman, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." She said politely to the centaur, despite being rude about cutting Nicholas off from his food.
She sat back down after shaking hands with Shellevia.

Althea raised her glass higher at the mention at the the fallen who fought along side Harry Potter. Her expression was on of deep thought. She listened to the remainder of her husbands speech, and joked a little on her pumpkin juice at the mention of a duel with Orynn. It was pretty obvious that the news of the duel was as new to her as to everyone else at the hall, except for maybe Orynn.
*Cough, cough* "Excuse me,...a..duel?...With HIM above all people?" She tried to whisper to him as she continued to try and clear her throat... "Are you sure he's...*cough*... not going to cheat?"
Her coughing caught the attention of the first few students who were sitting nearest the head table. A few eager Hufflepuff students were half tempted to jump out of their seats to aid the choking nurse, but they settled back down when she finally managed to clear her throat for good.
"I'm sorry," She said to the centaur, not meaning to ignore her dinner conversation.

"Indeed." She replied simply.
Vincent looked at the hat in awe, after all it did speak. Isabelle was still staring at Shellevia, unsure of what to make of the centaur and little Edward smiled at his father and pointed at the talking hat.
Edward opened his mouth let out some more baby babble..."Haaa-" He pointed at the sorting hat again and looked to his mother this time, "HaaaA!"
"Yes, that's right, hat." She reassured her youngest son.

Althea clapped with about the same amount of gusto for each student who was sorted by the hat, except for those of house Ravenclaw, when she clapped a little louder. She leaned over to Nicholas, "Oh, there's another one for you to look after dear... Do you remember when you were first sorted? I thought for sure I was going to be a Hufflepuff like my brother was..." Her smile turned to a frown as she momentarily gazed off into the crowd of anxious students, but it quickly returned. "I remember being so upset about it, but I quickly realized that the hat was right, Ravenclaw was where I belonged."

"I love you too, honey." She said to her husband, now having stopped tickling Edward. The baby now quietly looked around at his surroundings, unsure of what to make of it.
The two older children turned to look at the centaur who had taken her place near by the family.
Isabelle's eyes grew wide and stared at Shellevia, her mouth almost gapping wide open and pointed. "Mommy, horsey lady!"
Althea smiled back at the centaur, unsure of who she was and looked to her husband, with a pointed look after telling her daughter that it isn't polite to point.
Introduce me...

The school nurse was dressed in her uniform: dark green robes over which she sported a full white long apron. She sat at the end of the staff table next to Nicholas, tending to her three children that been set up at the very end of the table. Both Vincent, 5 years old, and Isabelle, 3 years old, sat on booster seats while their youngest, one-year-old Edward babbled contently in a highchair next to his mother. He waved his pudgy hands about as Althea tickled his sides, making baby noises back at him as he giggled.
Vincent and Isabelle looked around in amazement and silent awe at the large beautiful hall who's ceiling was enchanted to look like the starry night sky. All of the Lannsman's children were dressed for the occasion. Little Isabelle's straight dark hair was tied up in ribbons that matched her frilly dress and Vincent fussed with his hand knit sweater, while the youngest wore a similar sweater to his brother's.
