Elsbeth slowed to a halt as she reached the edges of the Forbidden Forest. She turned around to be sure her students had all followed, and after a quick headcount, she was sure that none had snuck off.
"Alright, children, if you'll each come up and retrieve a pair of gloves, shears and a pouch from my basket, I'll give out your instructions as soon as we're all ready."

Neoma hadn't been this close to the Forbidden forest. She walked up to Elsbeth and snatched up all the she'd needed. She tied the pouch around her waist, as it had a string intended for such. She put on a pair of gloves, and held her shears in her right hand.
Despite that some of her friends were in this class with her, she couldn't let herself be pinned to them all hours of the day. Sometimes it was exclusively class time, and Neoma had a feeling that she was going to enjoy this lesson.
She waited patiently for the next instructions.

All of her students had taken on their materials, and were ready to be assigned a spot to start looking for the ingredients they had discussed in class.
"Alright, you can pair up or work alone. If you work alone you must, fo safety reasons, stick clse by to me or to a pair."
She looked around as her students began pairing off, and noticed that some did prefer to remain alone. That was alright with her, some students worked better that way due to less interruptions.
"Wonderful! Okay, first of all, this is supposed to be a fun learning activity, so please do keep that in mind. And, second of all, think back on the vegetational ingredients we learned about in class, and read for homework. If you recognize something as an ingredient, clip it and place it in your puch, that's what it's there for. And if you don't recognize something, please be sure you're wearing your gloves, as you won't know if touching it directly is a hazard or not. Nobody, under any circumstances is to enter the Forest, understood? Stick to the clearing on the edge, there are plenty of plants here." she said this with a bit of authority in her voice, she hoped that they would heed her instructions, as without them her students might find themselves in some trouble.
She looked around her group once more, smiling at the children, then sent them off to do their task. "Now, off with you lot! We'll regroup in a half hour."

Neoma couldn't help but feel like something had fallen into the pit of her stomach. She ravaged her memory banks for some kind of clue to an ingredient as she wondered to the edge of the forest alone, still believe that it would be best if she stayed alone this class.
She still couldn't clearly recall anything, until she looked down. Daisies!
She bent down to the three or four daisies that were growing wildly. She was about to pick off the flower to place it into her sack but she suddenly stopped herself. She could have sworn that when Miss Pierce had mentioned Daisies as a possible ingredient, she had meant the flower and not the stem or root, but Neoma wasn't a hundred percent sure. These flowers were very thin and fragile though, so she was careful when she proceed to try to dig the plant out and get at it's roots as well.

Some time went by, and Elsbeth smiled as she walked around her groups of students. They had managed to find some wonderful plants that could be used as Potions ingredients, and one student had even found some Aconite, also known as Wolfsbane.
She approached Neoma, the Hufflepuff girl, and greeted her cheerfully. "Hello Neoma! What have you found today? I found some Hellebore and ScurvyGrass, myself."
