Getting Ready was the thread preceding this one. The Slytherin and Hufflepuff House Heads were currently in the Great Hall, along with the Ravenclaw Ghost; Lady Gray. The Deputy Headmaster was busy collecting passwords for each House's Common Room. Ergo, he was using the House Ghosts to summon the respective Staff Members, who were bound to be somewhere in the Castle. "Professor Winters, if you please Madame Grey." Orynn said without lifting his gaze from his quill and parchment. Madame Davinmir was standing right in front of him, as Orynn was leaning back on one of the very long dinning tables in the Great Hall. The Divination Professor had already given the Deputy the first Common Room Password for the fair House of Hufflepuff for the semester. Now he just needed two more... The Lady Grey had vanished, and Orynn had resumed the scratching of his quill. It was more than likely, that he had completely forgotten that his company was even there.

"No, I haven't the pleazure, yet. I zuppose you'll introduce me?"
She cocked her head as she watched him write.
"You maybe a quiet man, but your quill zpeaks volumes... You have el-e-gant writing... You like precision and keep many secrets..."

Zea, sitting in her office scribbling away at her journal, was startled when the Grey Lady floated through the door.
"Oh, hello there, Helena," she nodded at the ghost. The ghost gave her a small smile.
"I've been sent here by the deputy headmaster to fetch you. He's in the Great Hall now."
"Well, I must get myself there at once, then, right?" Zea winked at the ghost. "Can't keep him waiting."
She closed her leather-covered journal and slipped it back into place on the bookshelf, then followed the Grey Lady out the door.
"I'll take my leave of you now, Zea," the ghost said.
"All right. Take care. We must have tea soon!"
Zea headed downstairs, bursting into the Great Hall.

The words of the Hufflepuff House Head seemed to hit Orynn like one tries to hit another with air. When she did finish, he looked up and fastened his eyes with her own.
"Thank you for sharing your thoughts Madame, though I fear I am unwilling to return the favor." There was something haunting about his gaze. He got up from the table and went over to the door which had just burst open.
"Ah, Ms. Winters, I presume. 'Tis a pleasure." Orynn did not yawn, he just nodded politely. "Have you had the opportunity to meet the Head of Hufflepuff yet, Ma'am?"
Orynn made gesture with his arm to the woman behind him. The leaders of the house wise, fair, and cunning were all meeting for the first time.

Zea grinned and held out her hand.
"I'm afraid I've met no one but the Headmistress yet. And please, call me Zea. If we're to be work colleagues it seems rather strange to do anything but."

Orynn nodded in a respectful manner. "Very well, Zea." He averted his eye back down to his quill and parchment, before speaking once more.
"Have you been by the Ravenclaw tower yet? Is the door in proper order, and how are the questions?" Orynn asked in a strictly business like town. He was already dreading the next Head of House he would have to summon.

"Indeed I have. I've already set the password, and the hint, which I feel to be appropriately vague. So I'll just need to pass it on to the Prefects when they get here, and we'll be all set."

"Very good." Orynn said dryly, as he furiously wrote something down on his piece of parchment in hand.
He then glanced up from his quill, and his eyes went in several different direction. It was as if the Deputy had heard something. Finally he gave up and raised his voice slightly.
"Your Head of House, if you please, Sir Nearly Headless Nick." He said flatly.
The Gryffindor ghost appeared a few feet in front of Orynn, and appeared quite flustered. Not even acknowledging that he had been spoken to, he soared skyward and vanished into the ceiling.

"Harumph." Was all Minka had to say regarding the deputy's comment. So much for conversation.
She turned to the door, noticing the head of Ravenclaw. She also, judgmentally looked her up and down. She approached the newcomer,"Good day, Zea. I am Madame Minka Davinmir, head of House Hufflepuff."

Nicholas and the deceased knight both wound their way down the empty halls of Hogwarts castle, trading stories and theories as they did so. They both arrived to the area which Orynn was waiting and finsihed up their conversation as they got close enough.
"-but a small five man team should be able to do it with nothing less than a few well aimed Disarming spells. Good day, Sir Nicholas, until next time. Honor guide you." the professor said, grinning. The ghost smiled as well, returning the bow, making sure his head stayed still yet again.
"And to you, Sir Nicholas."
Both chuckled slightly before Nicholas turned his attention to Orynn, bowing again. "You wished to have an audience with me, Deputy Headmaster Novim? How might I be of service?" he asked, curt yet friendly enough in addressing Orynn. He stayed at crisp attention, his left hand resting by the hilt of his sword in a casual manner.

Now that all the Heads of Houses were here, there seemed to be some tension building up in the room. It may just be the playful competitiveness between some of the professors, but something did seem to make the air thicker
Orynn didn't even look up from his work; "I did Sir Lannsman, so nice of you to oblige." he then glanced up at him, and gave him a somewhat forced, satisfied smile.
Still looking at the Knight in the eyes, he made a motion with one arm, then the other. "In case you weren't already aware Sir, these are the Heads of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw respectfully. Madame Minka Davinmir, and Ms. Zea Winters."

Nicholas turned to look to both the other Professor's smiling genuinely in kind, bowing to each of them gracefully.
"Madame Davinmir, Lady Winters, it is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance. I look forward to being able to work with you this year, and welcome again to Hogwarts." he said, politely and amicably, smiling in earnest to both. "And so what business do all of the Head of Houses have to deal with today, Deputy Headmaster?"
His posture and attention slipped back into a more militaristic stature when speaking with Orynn, yet again. His voice kept it's calm and friendly demeanor nontheless.

Zea held out her hand to both the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff heads, and leaned back on a table, hooking her thumb into the pocket of her jeans.
She observed with interest the change in body language Sir Nicholas displayed when speaking with the head of house Slytherin.

"A password is required for your Common Room, Sir." Orynn spoke matter-of-factly. "Any suggestions?"
Orynn was now looking at Nicholas straight on. With his quill poised and ready to write, his stance was lax and unchecked.
((OOC: I'm really sorry for the horrible short-nessnage))

"Shall I write it down, whisper it in your ear or have you read my mind, Deputy Headmaster?" Nicholas returned in his own matter-of-factly manner. He remained absolutely sill in the exchange, waiting for the response.
