Minka, who seemed to be in a considerable amount of pain every time she touched something, began making her way to the doors, with the intent to leave the party early.

As the night wore on, students and staff alike began trickling out one or two at a time. The later the hour, the more left to go to bed or relax in their ommon rooms.
At the end of the night, onl the band remained, packing up their instruments, and te House Elves appeared to clean up the Hall. The Headmistress stayd a few minutes longer, to speak with the band and the House Elves, then she was gone to bed.
The Great Hal now stood empty and silent, a big contrast to the bustling of the Ball that was now over.
