The door to the Hospital Wing swung open as Aesir walked in hurriedly; his broom was currently being occupied by an unconscious first year. The boy's nose was bleeding profusely, but was being staunched by Aesir's and one of his t-shirts; he was wearing his tank top now. The boy was suspended on Aesir's broom in a carrying harness, lying down on his stomach so the blood wouldn't get in the way of his breathing.
Stupid, stupid kid! Why do they never listen? Why! No surfing on a broomstick! That's completely retarded!
Aesir seemed out of breath and had worked up a sweat. His wand, tucked in his belt had a bloody handle.
"Doc! I need some help here!" he yelled aloud, not seeing anyone as he walked in.
Great! Now I gotta deal with this kid...I suppose if she doesn't come soon there's a dumpster nearby. That'll take care of that. God I hate show offs!

Althea got up from her desk in her office and hurried over when she heard the professor shouting for help. She took one good look at the kid, her gaze analyzing what could possibly could have happened. She fished around in her long apron pockets from some latex gloves and snapped them on. "Set him down over there," she pointed to an empty bed. "On bis back, please." She quickly went over and pushed the bed up so it was in a seated upright position. "What happened?" She pulled her wand from her belt.

Aesir helped her deposit the child on the bed, speaking as he was doing so. "I was helping some of the other first years on their maneuvering and this one had the bright idea ter try and balance himself on the broom like it were a surfboard. Landed right on his d*mn face an' knocked hisself out colder than me grandpap's heart."
He tossed his bloodied shirt into a nearby garbage can.
Never liked that shirt anyway.
He moved aside once he finished what she'd asked of him, letting her do her work so he wouldn't get in her way.

As soon as Asier set him down she checked his pulse and made sure he was breathing. "Oh good, he's breathing." Without wasting time, she pulled from a near by cabinet clean cloths and an empty blow of water. She pointed her wand at it, "Aguamenti." The bowl filled with water.
She proceeded to clean the blood off his face, noticing at that point that his nose was most definitely broken, she then with a sickening snap, set his nose back in place. "It's best that he wasn't awake for that."
The nurse then turned her wand on the boy and waved it with a quick and fluid flick of the wrist."Rennervate."
The boy woke and sat up quickly, as if he woke from a horrid nightmare. He gasped for air. Althea caught him with an arm across his chest and set his back down on the bed calmly.
"It's ok. You're in the hospital wing. You are going to be fine."
The boy looked around him in confusion, looking down at his bloody clothes and then his flying instructor looking less than pleased. He raised a hand to face and winced in pain.
"No, no, don't touch your nose, dear, it's broken. Come now, look at me. Follow the light. Lumos." Althea held her wand up straight, the tip glowing slightly. She proceeded to run through all the usual questions.
"What day of the week is it?"
"Friday."
"Good. What's your name?"
"Samuel Hackford"
"What house are you in?"
"Ravenclaw."
"Good. You don't seem to have a concussion. Just a nice bump on your head and a broken nose, it seems." She patted his arms and his legs, making sure nothing else was broken. "You're fine, apart from your nose. You are very lucky you know. You could have seriously injured yourself." Again, she raised her wand this time pointing it at his nose. "Episkey." His nose mended itself back together.
From the same cabinet as before, she pulled out a pair of long sleeved pajamas and gave them to Samuel. "You should change and stick around for a bit. I want to make sure your head's going to be ok. Let me know if you are going to feel sick... It's important. I'll come talk to you later."
"Yes, mam'." The student replied in shame, knowing full well that he was going to be in a world of trouble for his dangerous stunt in class.
She pulled the curtains shut allowing the student some privacy as he changed out of his bloody school uniform. She turned back to Asier.
"Surfing on his broom stick?... It's not the first time I've seen that trick pulled. Except it was in a quiddich match and the seeker had the snitch just at his finger tips... it was brilliant actually. That move won the game...That was a great match."

Aesir was unimpressed.
He shrugged. "Brilliant or no, this was no quidditch match. This was still one of the first flying lessons and he gone and pulled somethin' like that while me back was turned. If he doesn't have a concussion from that stupid stunt, he'll be back for a second visit when I'm done with him. Anyway, ye know when they want quidditch started round here?" he said gruffly, folding his arms over his chest. He quickly pulled his hands back as he noticed one was still bloody and he smeared himself.
"Ah, fer the love of..." he muttered as he held his hands up in helplessness. "There anythin' I can wipe me hands with, Doc?"

She scoured at his comment about beating the student up for a second visit. She pointed to the sink near the entrance to the hospital wing. She balled up her gloves and tossed them in the nearest garbage can, she wiped her hands on her apron in an attempt to get some of the white powder off of them from the inside of the gloves.
"I have no idea, but I sure do hope it's soon. I love quidditch... I wenn to every game when I came to school here...I even tried out for the team, never made it though, I figured I wasn't going to get far anyway..."

Aesir didn't seem to be paying much attention when he was told the location of the sink. He stalked over to it and managed to get the water going, scrubbing his hands vigorously to wipe the blood off. He ran his hands through the running water and then through his hair for a minute and over his face. He turned the water off and stood there, holding the edge of the sink. He didn't seem to happy about anything at the moment.
With a steadying breath, Aesir turned around and looked to Althea, rubbing his wet hands dry on his pant legs. "Sorry 'bot all this. First time a student got one up on m. Won't happen again." he said, sounding a little more than ticked off. "I'm uh, I'm professor MacLeod. Dunno if ye heard of me. Teach flight class."

"It's not you who should be apologizing, it's Mr. Hackford. He'll be alright." She extended a hand, "Dr. Althea Lannsman, nice to finally meet you properly. I've seen you around the school..."

"Aesir MacLeod." he replied, eyeing her. "Any relation to the big guy? Scars, black hair, sword, fights like a jedi, should've whopped the Deputy some?"
He shook her hand in return as he pondered the possibilities.

[ooc:I'm assuming this thread is open. If not then please do ignore/delete this post.]
"It is..."[/b] Orynn said in a very deep and rigid tone, from apparently out fo nowhere. He stood, leaning on his cane, in the room's threshold; the door having been left open. He walked into the room, closer to the two staff as he continued speaking. Staring into the eyes of the red-head.
"...the province of knowledge to speak, and it is the province of wisdom; to listen." With a final 'tunk' of his cane hitting the ground, Orynn had stopped roughly two feet away from the Scotsman. "As you show no capacity of either, Mr. Macleod, on the matter of Wizard-dueling, I'd suggest you become mute on the subject. You wouldn't want to give the impression that you are learned in the topic, which you clearly; are not."[/color]
Orynn's gaze then moved over to Althea, he gave her a nod out of respect before addressing her. "Doctor, you asked to see me? I gather you simply wanted to take a look at my leg, see if it's improved any?"[/color]

[It's cool ]She wore a gold wedding band and a diamond engagement ring of tasteful size on her left ring finger. "Yeah," She smirked. "The big Jedi is my husband."Althea rolled her eyes at the Deputy's proverbs. "Mr. Novim, Mr. McLeod can speak about whatever he wishes... Unless, you've taken the freedom of speech off the curriculum this year?" She was irked at the Deputy for barging into the conversation and having the nerve to harp on the flying instructor, who she now realized was a Squib. She thought it extremely rude that the deputy seemed to intrude their conversation with the sole purpose of making it known to Althea that Aesir couldn't cast magic. If the Deputy's intent was to make her feel like he was somehow lesser of a person because of it, he utterly failed. She couldn't care less what he was. Holy smokes, what's this guy's problem? Sheesh, You pulled a muscle Orynn. He must have been neglected as a child to want this much attention."I'm sure you are fine, Mr. Novim, but I will check anyway. Have a seat. I'll be with you in a moment." She turned to Aesir, again. "I'm sorry, I'll be right back. Maybe you would like to take this opportunity to give Mr. Hackford a stern talking to about paying attention to the rules of safety."

[insert swearing and insults about Orynn's birth and personality]
Aesir fixed Orynn with a blistering scowl, not backing down in the slightest. He didn't turn to acknowledge Althea's words.
"S'alright, Doctor Lannsman. According to Sticks over here, the province has been getting pretty crowded anyway, with the knowledge of listening and speaking. Looks like they had to remove patience and respect to make room for those. I'll be over talkin' to the student once yer done removing the wand from his sphincter." he spat venomously as he shouldered past Orynn, walking right into him and past him without looking back.

She huffed in frustration. She couldn't help but crack a repressed smile at the wand comment. She mouthed a silent "I'm sorry he's my boss" to Aesir and motioned with her hand the "head chopped off" motion, as she stuck her tongue a little behind Orynn's back.
"Please gentlemen, be civil. There's a child in our presence." Althea looked over to the bed that Samuel had been laid upon. The young Ravenclaw's head poked out from behind the curtain and quickly vanished again after he realized he was caught eavesdropping. Althea shook her head and walked over to Orynn.
"Ok, let's see that leg again."

"Hmph." Orynn snickered, as the corner of his mouth curled towards the ceiling.
For someone who thinks highly of respect, evidently, he does not think the same towards his superiors. Orynn turned around to look to Althea, who had finished her gesturing. Not alone in that school of thought I'd think.
He thought that there would be no good reason to dabble here any longer than required. He used his cane as support to walk over to one of the medical beds, on the opposite end of the curtained-in student. Orynn plopped down on the bed, and sung his injured knee over on the the mattress. Making it easier for the doctor to examine it.

[pink][Assuming here that a few days have pasted between the duel and this visit.][/pink]
Althea gently examined his leg again, finding that it did heal quite a bit. She made him bend his knee to the best of his ability on his own and making him flex as much as he could. His leg was still mostly sore, the pain mostly now more of an annoyance than unbearable.
"How's that cream been working for you? I trust that it's been working it's magic." She said smiling.
