"Aye, that's the truth of it. But with a few well placed featherwight and cushionin' charms, ye'd be surprised how much ye can wear on a broom without it being a problem." he said. When she pointed to her office for a Coke, Aesir smiled. "Ye know, I find it comfortin' that there are at least some wizards who have the Muggle know how, instead of all this tea and crumpets business. I would really love to."

"Well, I do like tea and crumpets, but I like soda more..." She wondered into her office. "I grew up in the Muggle world, and when I finished Hogwarts, I studied there too." She pointed to the University of London doctorate on the wall above her desk. "There are somethings in the wizarding world, that I could never get behind- Like those every-flavor jelly beans... Seriously, I just prefer Jelly Bellies. I'm also a firm believer that magic doesn't solve everything. It certainly helps in a lot of cases but most of the time, I fell like it's a waste of energy... I guess that makes me a mud-blood through and through. That's why Orynn doesn't like me much either..."

Aesir smiled as she talked about the jelly belly beans and soda, feeling a good deal more comfortable at the notions, but was taken aback when she referred to herself as a mudblood.
"Oi! No need ter be callin' yerself names like that. Theres nuff people out there ter do it fer ye. 'Sides, ye seem like a decent doc. S'not like any wizard can go head an' become a real doctor such as yerself. Takes some brains that jobs like Deputy Headmaster don't need. An who cares? Half-blooded, full blooded, one eighth blooded, not really but might have a smidgeon o' magic but I'm not really sure blooded, who cares. Yer here to stay, so who cares. Least ye got somethin'."
Aesir opened to can of soda and took a sip. His eyebrows furrowed. "No fridge here?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "No- Fridges don't work here...." She also took a can of soda, also warm from her bottom desk drawer. She raised her wand and tapped to the top the can gently. "Gelutia" She pointed her wand at the one is Aesir's hand and did the same to his. The cans of soda instantly cooled to a refreshing temperature. "Sorry- I don't mean to be a show off... No ice box is all."

"Look it's fine. So long as ye don't go makin' remarks at me birth defet or magical ineptitude ye can do all the fancy tricks ye'd like. I don't care." he said a little rougher than intended. He took a sip to cool himself down.
Wow, works pretty well.
Shut up.
Too bad you can never do that, eh Freak?
Shut the hell up Erroll. Lot of good it did you.
"Do uh, do all electronics not work here? I know I haven't been able to let my tv or lap top or nothin' work here." he said, easing into a different topic.

"Unfortunately, no nothing electronic works- the more complex the device, the least likely it's going to work. Magical energy seems to interfere with electricity... It's a shame, I'd like to listen to some music in my office time to time. It helps keep my sanity intact - I don't suspect things would get too stressful around here. It's not like it's the emergency ward where I used to work in London... Night shifts were rough..."
