After a while to listenening to the music, dancing and more listening to music, Alora glanced down at the watch the tightly gripped her wrist. Seeing the time, she thought she may as well leave now before the rush of people trying to get back to their dorms was over baring.
Looking back up, she didn't really want to disturb Don, he seemed to be getting a tad carried away, but it was nice to see. With a slight touch on his arm, she leaned towards him and muttered "I'm gonna go. I'll see you... around". in his ear. Turning on her heal, she began to make her way out of the Great Hall.

"Your dancing isn't as bad as I thought either." She yelled back, with a slight grin.
Alora was quite glad that they had sort of settled their differences, although it was rather thrilling having someone to argue with all the time. Hopefully it wasn't just a one off, the whole being nice thing, she could get used to this.

Watching him walk away, Alora felt a bit weird about how nice he was being to her, but at this moment in time all she wanted to do was dance.
Following him to the dance floor, she couldn't help but laugh when she saw him dance. His timing was perfect, but his dance moves weren't. "Maybe you should slow down a bit." She said, as she leaned forward for him to hear what she was saying.

She hadn't really been expecting him to admit it, she just guessed that he may have had something to do with it. Focusing her attention back to him, Alora said with a slight smile "Well, honestly, I just had a suspicion that you had something to do with it, and you caved... pretty quickly if I do say so myself"
Watching everyone around the hall gave Alora inspiration to dance, and she wasn't planning on going into it alone. "You can say no, because I expect that you would, but do you want to dance?" She asked nervously, quickly returning her gaze to the floor.

She watched him as he spoke and couldn't help notice the smile that had suddenly spread across his face. "If you are lying, you are a tremendously good at it. Although, one thing you should bare in mind for the future is the fact that you shouldn't smile." She replied with a slight smile. Moving towards him slightly, she whispered "It gives away your game." Quickly finishing her sentance, she turned her back on Donall and watched the band.

With a nod, she began to walk towards him."Bands good, they look better close up." Alora told him with a quick smile. Turing to look up at the stage, after a while her eyes were drawn back to her shoes. With a twist on her heels, she faced him and asked"You don't happen to know how my shoes magically became, well, better. Do You?" Raising her eyebrows as she spoke, she knew that he had something to do with it. It was the playful smile he had given her, it gave his game away.Anyway, shoes don't magically change without magic.

Still looking at her shoes, Alora noticed movement within her shoes, not alot though. Shrugging and constantly telling herself she was just being stupid. She looked up at Dónall and felt more confident, she didn't know why or how, but she did. I think it's the shoes She thought.
"Yeah, it is rather alright actually. Don't you think?" With a smile she got up, and stood next to him looking over at the band. "I swear my shoes have got better now" She told him afterwards.

Sipping her Pumpkin Juice, and with her gaze firmly to the floor so there was no repeat performance of last time, Alora didn’t notices that Donall had decided to come over, and actually talk to her, before he spoke. Looking up slightly, she didn’t dare to catch his eye, he would only laugh at her.
Although, from what she saw, he did look rather good with his long green blazer and dark forest shade of green trousers. She wasn’t exactly going to tell him though. ‘He’s being civil, that’s all it is. Do not think too much of it.’ She thought to herself.
Hearing his comment about her shoes, she didn’t really know how to react. “Yeah, I was thinking exactly the same thing” She smiled weakly and looked down at her shoes. ‘Wasn’t expecting a nice reaction actually’

Deciding to go and get some pumpkin juice to ease away the embarrassment, Alora got up steadily and began to make her way over to the table where it was. Slowly walking over, she smiled and waved at a few people, before gladly coming to a holt and gripping hold of the table.
I am taking these off in a moment She thought as she gazed down at her shoes. The only reason she had them was because of the Ball, and the fact that they looked nice with her dress. She couldn't walk in them, they hurt and quite frankly she looked like an idiot. Why would she want to keep them on?
After spending quite a lot of time downing the Pumpkin juice and continuously clinging to the table, Alora decided it was time to go and sit back down again and listen to the band for a while.

Finding a space to sit after what felt like hours standing in those heals. Resting her elbow on the table, followed by her chin rested on her hand, she began to look around for someone she knew. For Alora, this was always how Balls or dances always ended up, sitting around by herself drinking far too much pumpkin juice and not even getting up once to dance.
Noticing someone was looking over at her, she tried so hard not to make eye contact, Worst time in the world to have a conversation, looking like this she thought as she squinted as subtly as possible as she had no idea who it was because of her eye site. Finally realising it was that Slytherin boy, Kennedy, her elbow slipped off the table, and she practically fell head first into the now vacant table.
With a slight cough, she pretended to sort out her hair and looked around at anything other than him. And he will be laughing at me rightttttt now[/]

'What is the difference between Parties, Dances and Balls? There isn't one, so why have one. Argh hate them, hate them, hate them. She thought.
Arriving at the Great Hall entrance, Alora took a deep breath, before putting on a graceful smile and pretending to enjoy herself. Taking hold of the right side of the dress, she pulled it down a bit, trying to cover as much of her leg as possible. Her costume, if you could call it that, was a bit too, how you say, poofy/sticky-outy or anything along those lines. The black dress came down to just above her knee, and had a white netting over the top, along with a flower just below her left shoulder. Her shoes were nothing special either, as they were hand-me-downs from her cousin, the black heeled shoes were a tad too big and she could barely walk in them, but they looked good.
Shoulder's back, Chest out and smile Alora thought, before walking quite slowly into the Hall and looking around to find someone to go and talk to, or alternatively somewhere to sit.

Late again. Every year this happened, Alora was late for the Great Feast and had nearly missed the sorting. Yet again she found the door slightly ajar, and peered round the corner before seeing someone else making their way to an empty seat.
Moving in slowly, she tried not to make a sound before sitting down at the Ravenclaw table with the seventh years. She nodded towards a few people on other tables who she knew but most of the time kept her head down.
'Least it was better than last year she thought when she remembered that last year she had actually completely missed the ceremony and came in when the head was talking. Not the best of plans.

Alora enjoyed Divination because it was something she was naturally good at. It isn't like she doesn't have to try, because believe me, she does. It's just something that she can take into her stride, and get right.
First lesson she thought happily before walking into the room. She smiled weakly at the teacher sitting on the stool at her desk, before turning her head to see Thomas Angelo of Slytherin sitting at the window desk.
Alora never really got on with him, must have been a Slytherin thing. To her, he was just someone who generally got on her nerves, there was no real reason, he just did. Drawing her gaze away from him, she set her eyes on the desk on the opposite side of the room nearer the back, and made her way over.

Sitting in class, her mind was wondering, back and fourth from snow and christmas to Transfiguration and Animagi, maybe not the best clash of subjects.
Thinking for a while, Alora leaned back on the back of her seat trying to think up an interesting answer to the question given. Not having any luck, she decided to try an answer which she thought might be right. "Urm... The transfigured student wouldn't look as realistic?" She quickly finished, and muttered "Yes, I actually have no idea."
