Yes, and we're done sending our letters, we should go back to the Common room now. Thank you for showing us the way, Miss Wood.

"She's a Ravenclaw. I don't know... The Gryffindors in her year will know her, and so do the teachers... and our parents of course. I guess that you're right, most of our classmates won't compare me to her, but that's about all I got..."
The young Gryffindors starting heading back for the common rooms, Miss Wood following at a distance not to pry on their conversation.

Lilianne looked up at Stevie from over Dinsdale's spiky back, her nose still buried in his stomach.
"Mmm, well it's not like any of us know that much, you know. Just because my sister told me about the school before I came and I've been around the wizarding world a bit doesn't mean I'm ready for anything. This place is so big and there's so much I don't know about it! And don't get me started on magic, I have no idea if I'm ever going to be a good witch, it's so scary! "
"At least you don't have a perfect big sister to be compared to..."

Lilianne was uncomfortable. She felt she had blown her first impressions with Stevie. It's not like it hadn't happenned before, in fact it was pretty frequent, but you can't get used to it.
"Hum, well, I guess we should go back to the Common room now..."
She started towards the exit without looking at Stevie directly. Dinsdale poked out from her hood and unto her shoulder, and she picked him up to hold him close to her face as she walked up to the waiting Miss Wood.

Lilianne could tell something was bothering Stevie. Feeling she did something wrong, yet again, she started wringing her hands.
"I.. I'm sorry, did I offend you? I didn't want to, I was just trying to make conversation, get to know you..."

Lilianne could tell Stevie was embarassed about something. She often knew the feeling.
"... Are you muggle-born? There's nothing wrong with that, you know. My mother is one."

"Just write the adress on your letter, or tell it to them, they're pretty smart, you know. Here you are Orly, I know I'm here now, but Dad will take care of giving you a treat, and I'll have one for you when you bring me their reply."
She slipped her letter in Orly's leg canister. The owl nibbled her on the ear again, then took off.
"You've never used Owl Post before?"

Lilianne looked quite amazed herself as she followed Stevie and Wood into the owlery.
As soon as she entered the vast room, a grey owl fluttered over to land on her shoulder, hooting.
"Oh! Hello, Orly!" She greeted the bird, who nibbled her ear affectuously. "This is the owl my sister always used to send us letters at home. I nicknamed him Orly, but I don't know if the school had named them. He seems to like it."
She rummaged through her pocket, taking out a bag of small berries.
"Here. I forgot to bring owl treats, but these are Dinsdale's. I think you'll like them."
The owl didn't seem to mind taking another pet's treat.
"I guess he loves the flight to our house..."

"Oh, I though that... oh..." , muttered Harvey, looking childish again for a moment in his disappointment. He lightened up quick however, smiling to the knight.
"Oh well! Hopefully we'll have more time to chit-chat later on, after we've taken good care of our respective families!"
"Yes, well we're not sure yet how long we'll be staying here... As long as we're needed of course. But we'll be sure to meet up with you again before we go, or else my husband will never let me live it down."
The Weskers waved goodbye to Isabelle again, and made for the exit. Lilianne stopped them however just before they left the wing, letting go of their hands and walking back to Nicholas.
Without a word and without even looking up to him, the young girl wrapped her arms around her Head of House's chest, hugging him tightly for a little while before she let go and went back to her smiling parents, who took her hands back and followed Zea to the Staff Room.

"Thank you for that, Professor Winters. Hopefully your wand will be found soon, Minoune, but if it turns out it's lost or broken, I'm sure the Headmistress will allow us to take you out to Diagon Alley once you're better so we can find you a replacement."
Lilianne spent some time in her sister's arms before she finally tore herself away and joined her waiting parents, who each took one of her hands and walked up to join Zea.
"Well then, lead the way!" said Harvey to Zea, before he looked over to Nicholas, slightly worried. "You're joining us, right?", he said hopefully.

Mrs Lévesque chuckled. "Well, it seems that Isabelle's got more of us that she can handle in one sitting already, so it would probably be better if we went somewhere else to grab a bite and discuss what happenned in more details. Isabelle needs to rest, and if Harvey can't stick to his inside voice we'll end up waking up your wife, as well."
Harvey, who was still fussing over Isabelle, looked up at his wife, looking oddly like a child getting scowled.
"She's... probably right..." He said, smiling embarassedly at Nicholas. He walked over to Lilianne, who was still sitting next to Isabelle's bed, and kneeled down in front of her.
"What do you say we go grab a bite, Peanut? You must be starving..."
"Not really..." Said Lilianne weakly, looking sideways at Isabelle.
"Come on now Lilianne, she won't disapear if you leave her alone for a few minutes..."

Lilianne tried to smile back when Isabelle made a joke about being thorn to shreds, but she didn't really find it funny at all.
She nodded silently at her when she spoke of properly thanking Dr Lannsman. She wasn't looking forward to it however, her feelings of guilt still too strong.
When her father inquired about Nicholas' rescue, however, for the first time since she'd woken up she seemed to brighten up some, and her voice was a little stronger as she answered:
"Oh! Right, I didn't tell you about that! See hum... Well after Dr Lannsman got... after she got hurt the monster was still coming for us, but then Professor Lannsman came in the Great Hall, and he was leading suits of armor that were moving on their own and they went and fought the monsters, and then Professor Lannsman took a spear and ran really fast toward us, then he jumped real, real high and came down on the monster and killed it before it could hurt us again... "
"It was like I was in an action movie or something...", she added as an afterthought, feeling a little confused between her feelings of fright, guilt, and pure amazement at the memory of that particular event.
Andréa simply whistled impressively, but Harvey looked overwhelmed again as he took a few steps toward Nicholas, his arms outstretched as if he wanted to hug the man, exclaiming:
"But by Merlin, Sir, you really are a Hero!"

"I'm here, Isa, I'm okay... You're awake... Does it hurt a lot?", Lilianne managed to blurt out in a weak voice, a smile shyly appearing on her yet again wet face.
Seeing that Isabelle was struggling to get a better view of things, she and her parents helped her turn around into a sitting position, as she couldn't lie flatly on her back, pilling several pillows up so that she could lean lightly onto something soft.
Once Isabelle was set up, her parents immediately started fussing over her for some time, taking account of her well-being.

Lilianne started to calm down as Nicholas was talking with her mother, and she pulled away from her father, listening to the conversation as well, though she didn't look at anyone directly.
Andréa listened to Nicholas intently, looking back at Isabelle proudly at his mention of her bravery.
"I see. Then I guess it's only a matter of waiting until we know who is responsible for bringing these creatures into a school full of children. I hope they are apprehended soon before they can cause more trouble..."
She eyed Nicholas for a moment, measuring him up.
"I take it you're Sir Nicholas Lannsman then? I've heard much of you from both of my girls, though from the contrast between their stories I could swear there are two of you...", she said, almost laughing.
Harvey suddenly looked up from Lilianne, his eyes widening.

"What's wrong, Peanut? Don't you want to tell us what happenned?" said Mr. Wesker in a shaky voice.
"Maybe it's just too difficult to remember, right now... It's alright, Lilianne."
"We're here, honey, take your time." Harvey looked up at his wife, and with an understanding nod between each other, they switched place, Harvey sitting with their youngest in his arms while Andréa moved over to take account of Isabelle's injuries.
Lilianne hid her face in her father's shirt for a while, starting to sob softly. Harvey started rocking her, stroking her hair and whispering "It's okay, we're here now Peanut..." repeatedly as his own eyes were tearing up.
After some time, Lilianne pulled herself away from her father, still keeping her eyes down.
"It's my fault."
"Cocotte?"
"Professor MacLeod crashed into our table during dinner, he was hurt and it scared me... And then those... Those monsters came into the Great Hall and one of them c-came right at me, and... And I t-think someone asked the students to go hide behind the staff t-table, but I couldn't move... I couldn't move..."
Warm tears washing over her face, Lilianne gasped for breath a few times before she went on. Harvey tried to hug her again but she pulled away, needing to get it all off her chest at once.
"... And then Isabelle was with me and she tried to get me to move but I- I... I was still frozen and then the monster came and... she blocked it with her body and we got thrown off and she got hurt instead of me... And there was blood everywhere and Isabelle was so hurt but she was still trying to protect me but she didn't have her w-wand anymore and I didn't know what to do and the monster was still coming for us..."
Lilianne pointed a shaking hand at the Lannsmans before she continued.
"And then Dr Lannsman came for us and we dragged Isabelle to cover and she was trying to help her but the m-monster went for her instead and it ripped her apart and she wasn't moving anymore and I t-though she w-was dead!
They both got hurt so much because I was too scared to do what I was told and I couldn't move, I was too s-scared so they got hurt, it's all my fault... my fault..."
Lilianne couldn't go on anymore and started weeping openly. Harvey forced her back into his arms and started rocking her again, tears running over his own face. Andréa came back down on her knees and wrapped her own arms around Lilianne as well.
"Oh, Peanut, don't say that... It's not your fault..."
"No one would expect you not to be scared, Lilianne. Everyone would have been... We'll never blame you. Please don't blame yourself..."
