Lilianne looked a bit uneasy at the discussion of classes, and she rubbed her arm nervously.
"Hum... Well I guess it's okay. Well I haven't gouged anyone's eye out yet, have I? I think I'm doing pretty great with the theory, at least..."
"I really like your costumes. There's so many nices ones here too, it's pretty fun!"

Lilianne sneaked away from her sister and her friends as they were busy gossiping about things she didn't really care about, and she went over to a table to get herself a glass of pumpkin juice, giving a shy smile in passing to Professor Lannsman, whom she had finaly recognized when his family joined him.
After getting her glass and grabbing a few treats on the table, she noticed Keladry, Neoma and Stevie hanging together. She approached them cautiously, as if afraid to bother them.
"Hi!... Er, I mean... Avast, ye scallywags!" She said in her shy voice.

Lilianne was half dragged into the Great Hall by her sister's classmate, Mary Prawett. The older Ravenclaw had taken quite a liking to the young Gryffindor, and they had helped each other with their costumes.
They were both dressed as pirates, Mary wearing a black corset over a red dress, which was slit open at the legs over stripped stockings. She wore a bandana over her hair and she carried a fake sword.
Lilianne was wearing a blue coat over a white shirt and black pants, and she wore a tricorne on her head. She also had a fake sword and a flintlock on her belt.
Lilianne was keeping a little behind Mary, as if she was too shy to come in. Once she entered the great hall however, she forgot her shyness in awe of the decor.
"Wow... this is all so pretty!"
"I told you this would be fun! Come on, lets go show our costumes to my friends over there. Yarr!" Mary said, grabbing Lilianne's hand and taking her to a group of Ravenclaws.

Aww, I'll miss the Clabberts! Lilianne knows a lot about those critters and likes them a bunch cause they're her mom's Quidditch team namesake and mascot

"Hey, guys!" Lilianne greeted Keladry and Stevie, grinning.
"I drew a picture of last week's clabberts, wanna see?" She said, holding up her sketchbook. Lilianne had seemed particularly interested in last week's focus, and she looked like she already knew a lot about the creatures.

Lilianne walked into the grove. She was wearing her house color scarf and gloves as the weather had started to turn cold. Along with her schoolbag she also carried a big sketchbook in her arms.
"Hello, Professor Taronin!" She greeted cheerfully as she approached the paddock.

Lilianne smiled at the professor. "Ahh, thank you, Professor. I was afraid Wizards were harming Bowtruckles by distracting them to take pieces of their home."
She positively beamed when she won her house points again.
"Oh! Yes, I have to go now! But maybe I will come visit you later, Professor, maybe I'd like to draw a Bowtruckle if you don't mind. Goodbye, Professor!"
Lilianne picked up her bag and ran back to the school.

Lilianne had enjoyed her turn with the bowtruckle. When it came to eat the woodlice in her hand, she looked at it, smiling, barely daring to breathe. The bowtruckle looked at her too. Though it appeared weary of her, it did seem pretty happy. The class was providing it quite a feast, after all.
As students started to gather their things to leave she approached the Professor.
Hum, Professor Taronin? I was wondering... I've read about the Bowtruckles before, and I know they take their homes in trees that can be used for making wands, and that they'll attack anyone who tries to take wood from the tree. But why are they so defensive? Is it that they misunderstand our intents, or is it that they can understand how trees feel? Are we hurting them to make our wands?

Lilianne leaned forward on the wall, cooing silently. She glanced over at Keladry: "You know, I think I've been bitten by one once back at home, but I never was able to catch a glimpse of him. This is so great!"

Lilianne knew the answer, but she waited to see if anyone else would answer. She was beaming at having won her house points, but she didn't want to come out as a know it all...
She stood there fidgeting a little as the other students were wracking their brains.

Lilianne raised her hand, hopping slightly in place.
"They're tree-guardians! They're not bugs, they look like little stick-people!"
Care of Magical Creatures was definately a subject where Lilianne could feel smart for a change, with all the books she had read on animals and magical creatures.

Lilianne waved back at Stevie and moved to stand next to him along the wall.
"Hi! You're looking quite cheerful today. I can't wait to see what creature we'll be learning about..."

"Not too bad, Professor. I'm starting to learn some spells, but it's not so easy. I'm better off with theory... I'm nervous with the real thing. Professor Lannsman's been very encouraging, though."
Lilianne suddenly looked embarassed. Why was she advertising her own weaknesses?
"Hum... How have you been, Professor? And how are Atemisius and Nephessta?"

Lilianne got to the grove early. Care of Magical Creatures was definately a subject meant for her, and one she wouldn't feel nervous in. She wondered what they'd be studying this time.
"Hello, Professor Taronin!" she waved, looking around trying to find if she could see any creature around, or at least the adorable Squirrel.

Lilianne stiffened as she heard the professor adress them.
"Hum, we're doing great, I think, Sir..."
