The doctor with the cane stepped forward to where Lilianne was standing, nearly hysterical. He bent his face very close to hers. His eyes were very, very blue.
"Stop it," he said, very clearly and gruffly. "Your sister is going to be fine. Listen to him, and go back to your Common Room. Nobody is going to be dying here tonight."
"Ugh. Cut it out, Castle," the brunette said. "It's her sister, she's allowed to be upset."
Dr. Castle rolled his eyes, and moved over to where Dr. Hunt was working on Althea.
She turned to Lilianne. "I'm Dr. Campbell. She's going to be okay, I promise. I've fixed the internal damage, we're going to heal the wounds on her back, and then give her a Blood Replenishing Potion. She might have some faint scars, but she'll be all right. Don't listen to Dr. Castle. He's kind of a jerk."
"My ears are burning."
Dr. Hunt managed to get Althea's bleeding under control. He worked very quickly, and gave her a Blood Replenishing Potion as soon as he had stopped the worst of the internal injuries.
Which Althea choked on. And then promptly stopped being able to breathe. Dr. Hunt examined her chest immediately.
"Her lung's collapsed, she's gonna crash!" he yelled. "Tyhee, where's the Inflator?"
"I don't know!" the black doctor yelled back. "Check her stores!"
Dr. Hunt dashed across the room, throwing open the door to the storage area. He glanced around, trying not to panic. An idea hit him, and he grabbed a syringe.
"This is really, really going to hurt," he said to the barely conscious doctor. "But it's all I can do. I'm sorry!"
He stabbed her in the chest with it, and tore out the plunger.
"Barbaric Muggle method, but it should stablize her while I fix it."
Tyhee administered a Calming Draught to Aesir, and began repairing his injuries.

Nicholas was about to try and bolster Lilianne's spirits until he heard the doctor yelling about Althea.
Nicholas stood in bolted upright and stared in pale horror as they stabbed the syringe into her chest. His eyes were wide, his cloak dropped from his right hand which was now trembling and hanging by his side.
He was paralyzed with fear and didn't know what to do.
Althea...
He couldn't rush to her, what could he do?
He was helpless. Not any of the magic, not any of his talents or acquired knowledges could do anything.
Nicholas couldn't defend her.
He had his chance, and he didn't make it.
"No...it's my fault..."

The tall man moved aside to allow the doctors to do what they needed to do. He stood in silence in his own little world as he watched everyone in the room. His face once again fell to a simple neutral stare. His eyes were focussing on Nicolas mostly seeing what this man was doing and what he planned to do.
"Expecto Patronum."
When those words were spoken and the ghostly horse appeared his eye slightly twitched but then the stone face remained as he watched him.
After seeing the entire scene before him he silently sighed to himself and looked back to the Head Mistress.
"Is there anything else you need done? If not I can go unload my things and prepare my class room."

Once Aesir drank the potion, he began to calm almost immediately. He still occasionally twitched in pain until he looked up to the black doctor and frowned. His eyes were still closed as he smiled.
"Elsbeth, I knew I could count on ye. My hero, now come here so I can-" he said until he opened his eyes and blinked in confusion.
"Uh...Well, thass embarrasin'. Mind knockin' me out so I can think this was just part of a dream and I wasn't trying ter seduce yer, Doc?"

Elsbeth answered her newest staff Wizard in a rushed tone, she was eager to see how things were going with all the injured witches and wizards. "Yes, that's all, thank you so much. You may settle yourself in now. I do apologize for the lack of a proper welcome."
And with that, she turned to go check on Aesir, watching with a small smile on her face as he accidentally hi on the doctor. Silly man she thought to herself.
She walked over and thanked the doctor for his help. "Thank you so much Doctor, I'm glad to see he's finally stable." Turning her attention to Aesir, she gave him a slight smile, and whispered "I'm so happy you're alright."

He nodded and bowed.
"I trust the castle has not had any changes over the years? Everything is the same as it was 40 years ago? If things were changed I am sure I might get lost."

Elsbeth turned around momentarily, to answer Redic's question. "Yes, everything is as it was. This school may go through hell every once in a while, but it'll always stay the same."

Lilianne's anguish was about to increase when Dr. Castle adressed her, but then Dr Campbell calmed her down, a tiny bit.
Then the commotion around Althea happenned, and Nicholas bolted upright. If even he was scared, how could she even begin to handle it?
She grabbed Nicholas's shirt and buried her face into his side, eyes shut hard, trying to ignore what was happenning.
"I... I w-want to leave, Sir..."

"Splendid. Well I will take my leave and allow the good..." He stopped for a moment seeming to think carefully of his next choice of words. "Doctors do what they do best. I look forward in sculpting the minds of the students in the ways of Magic's history."
He paused again and his eyes averted to the room itself. Memories began to florish in his head. Deep in the layers of safeguards that time and training contained began to unlock and show him images of the past. Under his breath he spoke softly. "Ah... silly boy." He then shock the memory aside and looked back at the head mistress.
"Right. Well I will take my leave then and see to it that the chambers for the History of Magic is prepared for study as soon as possible. If you need anything from me dear head Mistress please do no hesitate..." He stopped again searching for the correct words. "To ask.." He bowed and slowly began to walk away in silence. As he walked it seemed not even his footsteps made a sound in the vast room.

Nicholas remained still and staring at Althea, hands shaking. As Lilianne buried her face into his side, she could feel several drops of something fall onto her head.
Trembling, Nicholas tried to keep his breathing even and the rest of his tears in check.

Aesir squeezed back. "I'm happy I'm alright too." he added softly, wincing a bit and trying to grin. "I think I need some rest..."
He closed his eyes again, trying to relax some more amidst the noise and hustle around him.

If she could have, she would have screamed, instead she let out a faint whimper. The pain surged through her body and burnt like hot coals in her lungs. She tried to gasp for air. Even more tears streaked her face.
She just wanted the pain to stop, she wanted this to be over. But most of all she just wanted Nicholas to be there. She looked left and right, but all she cloud make out were lab coats and bright lights. She couldn't see him. He wasn't there. She was terrified.
Where are you? I don't want to be alone.

Zea slipped through the door of the hospital wing, wanting to check on everyone. Her gaze searched first for Aesir, and, seeing him and giving him a shy smile, took in the damage of Isabelle and Althea.
Althea didn't look good.
She crossed the room to where Elsbeth and a man she hadn't met were standing.
"I think we should contact Isabelle's parents, and let them know what happened," she said. "Could you get that done, I should really be checking on my students."
She turned to Neville.
"I haven't seen Minka anywhere. I think it'd be best if someone went to check on the students of Hufflepuff, as well as Gryffindor. I don't know where Orynn is either, so I'll stop by the Slytherin common room later."

Dr. Tyhee gave Aesir a strange look. Dr. Castle peered over his shoulder.
"What, was Hunt wearing his short shorts again? You know they make many men drool," he teased, then wandered off to check the progress on Althea.
Tyhee rolled his eyes, and gave Aesir a Blood Replenishing Potion.
"Drink this, ignore him. He's an ass, but he's a good doctor."
"Hmm. Well, good job, Hunt. The patient's husband prefers her not dead."
Hunt rolled his eyes.
"She's out of immediate danger. She'll pull through all right."
He performed a few spells to get her breathing back on track.
